Here is the META for each team. Solo: General strategy: You don't need to be first, so don't bring the first and second place players down, bring the third place player down to make him close to you in terms of coins and stars. If you manage to actually get third and make him fourth, widen the gap between the 2 of you, keep him below you as much as possible. It's harder for them to use items to help each other or steal from each other to make the reverse strategy, abuse from this advantage, it's the only one you have. That's for the coins, for the stars, well if the third place doesn't have any, of course you're gonna go for the second place, and if that one doesn't have any, go for the first place. Movement on this map: 2 options: 1- Pass by the item shop a lot of times to get items that will be useful, but only do that if you manage to save coins. 2- Pass by the Boo as much as possible Trying to always go for the star is almost impossible, they will try to switch it for Bowser last second. Minigames: Win every minigame you can, OK, that one was obvious. Coins minigames are gonna be your best chance at winning coins. Prey there are lots of them, and pray there will be very few double coins minigames. Items: Keep your items until the last turns, because with everything they steal from you, it's like you bought them for nothing in the end. Golden Pipes: They would actually play against you more than anything, they will pass by Boo more often and they can actually steal stars if you ever manage to get one. So for 45 coins, you'll have given them a star for 50 coins. If you ever get a Golden Pipe, wait. Wait for the last turns if possible and make sure none of them are near the Boo with more than 49 coins. Warp Block: It might save you from Bowser a few times, and THEY will be in front of him now. They could save each other like they put you there, but that will cost them an other item, giving you a little breather. Extra movements items will cancel the Cursed Dice Blocks, allowing you to actually move if they spam Cursed Dice Blocks against you. But you'll probably need to choose your landing spaces more than anything, Custom Dice Blocks are your best chance. Bonus: Chance Time might be you best chance, yes, it's cheap and hard to pull off, but you're here to win, it's not like they wouldn't do it anyway. Abuse from it to gain as much coins and stars as possible. Bowser can turn the tides fast, there are general stuff, like Bowser Shuffle and Bowser Revolution. Everyone can loose coins, not just you, and if you have few, you have nothing to loose really. You can delete stuff. If you steal something (for example, a star), you can destroy it, loose it to Bowser, they won't get it back and you will be closer to them. That one is a hard one to do, and it's not really you that chooses really... Mario Party problems require Mario Party solutions. Team: General strategy: Play dirty if you must. Prevent him from getting anything. Limit his options as much as possible. He only needs to get third, so none of you need to get tons of stars, be careful what you do, your actions may play against your teammates, make sure the last (in position) of your team doesn't get harmed by what you do, but sometimes, you'll need to do it. Movement on this map: 2 options: 1- Be a Boo B*, steal EVRYTHING all the time by passing as much as possible. 2- Be a Item B*, and make his movement as hard as possible. Hey, you can always split the roles and change between each other, you're a team after all! Minigames: Free for all: Make solo last. That's obvious, but now comes the fun part. Try to get a tie for all the others, you will all have lots s this way. If you can't, make your last teammate (in coins) first, the second second, and the first third. For 1v3 and 2v2, just make sure the team with solo looses. Unless you have a strategy and one of you needs the coins, in this case, make this person win. This will be the optimal play for minigames. Items: Now that's the fun part! Cursed Dice Blocks: Slow him down, break his spirit if you want, the more the solo player gets angry easily and tends to want revenge, the better for you! He might actually make mistakes. Warp Block: Too risky, you might put your teammates in danger instead, and it's actually more likely. Custom Dice Block: Switch Toadette and Bowser right in front of him.
