Good day sister, I will be flying to vancouver from toronto for 3 days and I will take buses to travel around the city. I hope buy a $6 compass card from airport 7-11 store. Then I use airport WIFI to register the card and load the card money to buy a day pass. Will this will avoid the $5 airport added fee? Thanks.

Hi! I was reading translink webpage. It says there Compass Tickets and DayPasses not purchased from Compass Vending Machines at YVR Airport, Sea Island Centre, and Templeton stations are exempt. www.translink.ca/transit-fares/transferring-and-addfare
