Just loving this build Scott. I was building my 1/3 scale RC Fokker D.Vll the other day and said ‘jig time’.

Thanks, a bit of extra work pays off in the long run

Your creation of and use of various jigs is excellent. No doubt, your final results are much better than average because of them.

Nice work on the jigs and fixtures! It’s a lot of work but is really going to pay off for you with a very consistent high quality result. Looking forward to seeing it all come together. Cheers. Jim

Scott so far as I am aware many wood-framed aircraft were made using spruce and suspect maple would resemble spruce more closely than walnut although wouldn't external structures have simply been painted olive-drab on a British/Commonwealth military aircraft?

@@scottmatthews5280 Sorry the trainer outside looks like a Percival Provost from the UK almost identical .which it isn' t. I wondered what you called it so I to look it up and it was a aeroplane I had never heard of a CAC Winjeel. and aparently quite rare. I'm currently trying to watch your build vlogs in order. It is exellent viewing and you are a good presenter.👍
