Side tilt in Ultimate is also a 3 hit combo, PMEX does this as well. Also, the final smash in Ultimate kills at 100%

Lol, I did that combo in PMEX, and since I didn't do it in Ultimate and it looks like his Jab, I thought it was a bug in the Mod. Thanks for the information.

Yeah. Using aerial recovery as your recovery tool is genius. They should have made it so when you do a normal, non-directional air dodge out of tumble, you do aerial recovery and can instantly do a fair combo

Before 1.2 came out you could up air certain characters continuously until they hit the blast zone, he was crazy.

I think its neat how SSF2 Sora's Moves are based on KH2 more then KH1, especially that Sliding Dash

i hold ssf2 dear to my heart because i played it all the time as a kid, yes, but rivals of aether (personally imo) takes the cake for the best sora character i played in a platform fighter.

I get that Sora throwing the Keyblade is a cool move, but I think the reason they didn’t add it is because Pyra has the exact same move where she throws her sword out and they probably wanted to do something more unique for Sora

Yet he was given a simple Counter for the Down B, so it really doesn't stand very well as an argument for lacking Strike Raid

I prefer his moveset in Smash Flash. It best represents how Sora fights in KH2 more and how he mostly fights throughout the series he's also not as slow movement wise. Sora should be a fast attacker. And he can mix up his aerial combos. His Smash Ultimate moveset pulls more from KH1 in comparison.

Smash Flash 2 for sure, to be fair it does use KH2 as a basis but it works better imo. Explosion as his Down Smash, Aero as his Up-Smash, Strike Raid as Neutral Special, even his jumps are referenced since they’re the high and double jump in KH2

You really should use at least CMC+ v8, if not Gamebanana mods, to showcase Crusade along with the others. Playing Crusade without mods is like playing MUGEN with Kung-Fu-Man and Kung-Fu-Girl as the only characters. In this case, CMC+ has Sora and it would have been interesting to show it along, simply with a disclaimer that he's not in core Crusade.

CMC Sora is basically a port of pre-Beta SSF2 Sora, so it's not all that different.

It's project m with ultimate characters. Meaning it has movement options and physics similar to melee. So it really depends on how comfortable you are with project m to begin with

I'm gonna be honest, I think I still like Smash's Sora moveset more. It just feels so much more refined and coherent. Sure it's limited on his representation of the series entire, but its still a great basis for Sora, which he is perfect for how he was supposed to be represented in game. But I would still adore a second form for sora that utilizes more of his KH3 and KH2 powers, maybe even some limits like ars arcanum and infinity
