I would suggest against using the ultima weapon in your first playthrough unlike in KH and KH2 the Ultima weapon is far from balanced in KH3 it destroys everything with minimal effort since KH3 is baby difficulty already you don't want it being easier

The way I play KH3 I end up unlocking the recipe before I fight Davey Jones in the Carribbean, as well as synthesising Save the King and Queen + then and there. One thing I do kinda wish though is in New game + Ultima Weapon required the Orichalcum +s to level up to encourage players to go out of thier way to get the rare material.

You know what, I'm going to give you props Soralaam1. You're Ultima Weapon/Synthesis guide did NOT do what it was supposed to, because I've LONG since already had the Ultima Weapon. What it DID do, however, was give me a REALLY simple idea of how to beat Schwarzgeist and get the Golden Highwind. Using those instructions, it turned out to really be as simple (and clean) as: Holding down R2, Mash Square, and toggle the joystick up and down. Cheers mate.

After I finally beat the Olympus flan mini game I sat down and did the long trek to get Ultima and I did it! I actually did it and ur guide helped so much. This guide is THE SHIT. I was left at 99 something percent with 1 trophy (Synthesia) from Platinum and I decided to Plat the game before Re:Mind. Knowing I can check a material and you tell me exactly who drops it, where they drop it and .... here it comes... HOW MANY OF SAID OBJECT I NEED FOR 100% COMPLETION is INSANEEEE. Don’t go to the gummi editor. Instead, just embark from MST-03 and in the setup there you can change your ship to the blueprint.
