A disasterclass, reducing utility of tier 4/5 cards to 0 and damaging medium/low value galleries at the same time. Also the "Beat the Game " transition is the same as removing the threshold without any advice and destroying the market until August.

Why do you think that? Cap240 has to go to make the other tournaments more profitable and fun. There will be still Tournaments with limited points so tier 4/5 cards will still have a utility and Star Cards will be more important and will raise in price. So it's good for all the Galleries that lost so much value, cause most managers a focusing on the cap240.

@@twm1423 I would love to work for sorare but unfortunality I dont xD. Just a pationate Player who loves the game =) ... Why you think the Cap240 Players will loose value? There will be other Tournaments with budget limitations and special events. But ok maybe they loose a little value unless they become star players so I would hold those cards. Because Star Players will become much more expensive. I holding only Cards in my gallery where I think they could become star Players. I guess everybody is looking for the next cheap high performer isn't it? So why should we sell those cards now just because Cap240 will end?

it is the same now, if you continue the way we did in the last years. All cards will be worth nothing. Mbappe was at 4000Euro he is now at 400Euro. You don't realize the absurdity of destroying the meaning and value of the old cards: as soon as your CUSTOMERS understand that the new cards are nothing more than the future "old cards", therefore already intrinsically of low value, everything will probably implode. This view is incredibly short-sighted and self-destructive.

"Beat the game"... seriously !? I have a medium size gallery with good player cards. And over the last year, in the CAP240 I managed only 4 time to get over 340 points and only 1 time over 390 (and I finished 6th!!) So I understand, that this is not rentable over the years. But putting this update now for February 16 ?! You must be kidding.... I feel sorry for all the people who bought players in the last weeks to finaly be competitive in CAP240...

Its only Fantasy now, so now its a real Fantasy Game....... But Look we have USD, BTC, ETH ...... Biggest Fantasy Games in earth.............my way, sell all Players over 30 yr. Grow the under 30 sell, and quit the Game with +15% in some years to have Inflation back. 18yr Players i'll Play 5 years and than sell and quit. Someone will eat my frog

I will be realistic: No one will play her favourite player in "old-card slot". Everybody will play a GK, and of this way, New-card GK price will be equal to DEF/MC price.

​@@twm1423 no, some 370 points will be enough for reward. How good will those rewards be, remains to be seen. Same as now, but without tresholde. DNP cards will be problem, same as now. Hope sorare will solve it, in time. In theory, any card you get as a reward from clasic mode, will be more worth, than now, since that card will be new season card, playable in cash tournaments.

Guess it is a below par announcement, i can see why there is a rush for people to sell their galleries. I am underwhelmed and thought they could do so much more. All star going is such a poor decision as lineups with players from all over the word make this game special. I feel like its gonna get boring quickly

@MaximilianHeinrich-lv7eo I think you are wrong, I think the excitement has gone. I'm a long term user and a few of my friends have joined, nobody I have talked to thinks the gameplay will be better. Just more complicated 😪. You have to do what you think is right for the platform, I think you could have done so much more or a much better announcement. You have definitely not listened to the user base, you have just implemented things and decided without testing other things. I will play the game till the new format comes and sell up. Good luck

It's your decision of course. Maybe your opinion will change and you give the new Sorare a chance. Can I ask whats your tacticts and motivation at the moment? Do you own Players from the top Leagues? Because I think they will become much more valuable. Especially PLayers from the Bundesliga I guess. I think this would be a good upgrade only if the "in-season" category also included those cards from the previous season (therefore also those from 2023-24). In this way, at least some relevance would be given to the cards from the just previous season, where the managers spent a lot of money to purchase and hold them.

Removing the threshold like this will hurt Sorare a lot. Removing the use of old cards will do a lot of harm to sorare. Taking away the Asia competition will do a lot of harm to Sorare. I'm very perplexed as to the update. I'm an old user who isn't happy with innovation.

Removing the Threshold will be a good thing for Sorare for the lung run. Its important. With Cap240 Sorare isnt able to improve all the other stuff. I think to make the other competitions much better, fun and profitable is a win for all of us. Not for the threshold farmers of course. But they arent really supporters anyway. Just wanna make easy cash..... Removing the use of old cards?? Where? You can win Season Cards and even cash prices with them so dont true. And season Cards will be much more valuable so its nice to winning season cards. You can sell them or use them then

Just a little reminder: Sorare is not an investment. If you play this game, you will lose money. Between the end of tresholds, and other decisions made to give money back to the 700M€ investors, i've lost 15k€ with a buyin of 25k€ (ie my collection worth 10k€ rn, i've lost more than 50% of my buy-in). Bottomline: don't do it to win money, you won't. Do it if you like fantasy football and you are rdy to spend money to play.

You don't loose money until you sell. Maybe your Collection will be worth much more in the future. It's supply and demand. At the moment the growth of new managers is too small. But it can change soon.

Bring back the oldest tournament where only whites were played. The prize is also a white card. No need for prizes or colored cards. People enjoyed collecting and training them. When you get a player, you go in and study him. If you like it, buy it in color later to participate in other tournaments. Slow collecting. You have nothing to lose - everyone is happy. After the introduction of a cap of 240, prices plummeted. If you remove it, prices will soar and everyone will be happy. You need to give people money and they will spend it on cards, and not pay 3 million per month for the English Premier League football. They conducted an excellent survey on Twitter - more than 80% of managers spend the money they earn from trash-holds of 240 back on cards.

Changing the cap 240 modes with in a time of 9 days(!) is hilarious. Cap 240 with the changements made next week, makes the thresholds and the beat the game mode useless. Just bought a rare goalie in order to attack the 50 usd till at least summer, but once again there is a changement with no time to adjust at all. As I sad cap 240 is dead now and not just in august. Will start to get a little money back out of the game and for sure will add not a single cent to this project anymore

Funny to come here half year later and see how you failed in delivering everything you promised in this video. The rewards are worse than ever (winning 1/20 of 0.4€ card for 350pts lineup is not what I'd call rewarding), the progression doesn't work (no-one want to be in highest division and everyone is getting relegated on purpose) and the competitions structure with all the specials with unclear rules is more complicated than ever. Good job, sorare!

why you call the competition beat the game? I set the team, I need to set the target. My players will run for points. The game does nothing, only maybe to give the reward. Beat the game was the threshold system, that you erased!

Lots to like but strange update to capped modes given they were so recently introduced and the commitments made in the past. The wide league coverage and beat-the-game element is Sorare's niche so confusing to see it dropped/ re-organised so flippently. Understand the need to be sustainable. Sustainability will be a challenge without any stability. Lots of players who play the 240 re-invest their wins back into the platform. Card rewards outside the podiums are not really that exciting for those i know. Very few (mostly elite) player dominate the high places, and will do so even more with multi-entry. It is become a cash game rather than tournament poker, where the more money you have, the better you do. Can see lots of loyal players leaving and take funds out of the platform. Struggle to see the attraction for new players. Shame 💔

I think it's a shame that so many people are just selfish and don't want the development of Sorare just because they want to make money with Cap240. The company is spending way too much money on this competition. You just have to admit that. For the sake of Sorare and the fun of the game, we should be open to the innovations. Because in the end we will have more advantages if Sorare grows and becomes suitable for the masses. I think the development makes sense and is very important. And I say that as an absolute fan of Cap240.... What if there was an entry fee for the Cap240 to finance it? For example you pay a fee you want and get x3 if you reach the Goal. Something like that... I have a suggestion for Rivals. I like the mode but I think the chances of winning are far too low. Unfortunately, that's not very motivating. What if you could bet a card and win your rival's card?

Man hätte die alten Saisonkarten die älter sind als 3 Jahre einfach eintauschen sollen gegen Boxen etc. um die Preise stabil zu halten aber durch so ein Update macht es für keinen Spieler mehr Sinn in Sorare zu investieren! Versteh deine Kritik nicht. Ich finde den cap240 momentan auch am profitabelsten aber es ist einfach ein Fakt, dass Sorare viel zu viel Cash dafür aufbringen muss. Cash was man nutzen kann um die anderen Modi viel interessanter zu gestalten! Außerdem werden die high performer Karten dadurch endlich wieder Wertvoller und der Preisverfall wird gestoppt... Und alle die Sorare nur spielen um den TH zu farmen sind hier eh fehl am platz.
