I've been playing Antimagic Warlock with 50% mdr, and losing half my hp to Flamfrost Spear in one hit. That being in Squire gear... That means that Flamefrost Spear is a fast moving projectile that does over 108 damage in Squire gear. Unless Antimagic is bugged and doesn't work on Sorcerer magic (which is entirely possible), 50% mdr is borderline required just to stand a chance against Sorcerer. Absolutely insane.

Sorc needs some more skills, hoping we get some soon. Right now you have the option of playing Apex or Time Distortion for a different playstyle. Mana fold is honestly kinda bad, cooldowns are fine at base and with TD mana fold hardly makes a dent in the cooldowns. Hopefully we will get some skills like wizard, buffing certain schools of magic. (Also good god does lightning storm piss me off, it does ridiculous damage but you have to win the lottery for the spell to activate).

Yup cancels more than Holy Strike used to, it's frustrating asf.

@ Just saw a post, they theorize that it gets canceled when something is in the line of site from you to your target. They demonstrated by casting Lightning Storm directly at a Giant Berserker (it failed), and then casted it next to the berserker while not looking at it (it succeeded). So if this is true, think of targeting the spell as pointing a laser from your crosshair and if that laser isnt hitting the ground your spell wont activate.

This is actually comical how strong it is. But me personally I been having a lot of fun teleporting on people with the lighting bubble and beating them up with a quarter staff. Same perk setup, you just bunk people. You know I like my bonks.
