I've opened 2 boxes of alpha and 16 beta boxes. My alpha "big hit" was a foil "The Colour out of Space" and 2 ruby cores. Beta big hits were a foil Death Dealer and foil Pathfinder. I didn't pull any Philosopher Stones in alpha or beta, but in beta i did pull all the cores. I hope you enjoy the game, its almost like MTG EDH but 20 health and you can move around on a grid. There's a lot of similar concepts, but a lot of new concepts and key words and mechanics the you need to get a grasp of. You'll be attached to the rule book for like 10 games. I still use the rulebook, but a lot less often. I think the game is super fun and the pre-cons are great to learn on with a friend.

if you want some more info on the game there is a you another KZbin channel and their discord with a lot of stuff and people on it for the game "cardboard guide". Pretty sure some of the creatures are on there too. I opened four boxes so far no curios but two cores and two philosophers stones. No unique foils however.

I just bought my first beta box from my lgs the other day and had this playing while cracking it open. My box was kinda similar, my unique core was the Ruby one as well! I had a solid box, no unique foils. I did get a Philosopher's Stone when I got 6 packs from my lgs the other week lol

Sorcery looks awesome I never fell for any other TCG besides Magic to be honest mainly because of time and money. Id rather open these cards than Flesh and Blood though!
