Love it!!!!! 😂 a friend and I have been brewing up something very similar over the past week but with Waveshaper at the helm. Druid sounds like a better avatar for this type of deck.👍👍

This deck is super fun, I have made a couple similar builds. You touched on it about leprechauns, but I think Selfsame Simulacrum is kind of luke warm and might be worth testing switched out with Helpful Hob, who you can curve out after a nelly to get two activations, or just enabling a second swing with your unicorns/cats/boggarts, or best of all, multiple bailiff or pudge boom booms. The playable floor of selfsame is rock bottom, the playable floor for Hob is at least letting your avatar play multiple sites or getting an extra move while creating a blocker. Thanks for posting this is super cool, and almost certainly will be my first druid deck to get some sleeves in paper!

Just played a sort of modified budget version of this deck last night at our weekly Sorcery Night here, and it was a ton of fun. It is a real thinker when it comes to positioning. Makes me think it would be excellent for someone learning to get a feel for the tactical board state. I modified it by taking out the artifacts and higher end sites to make it super budget friendly, so I can introduce it to newcomers. Awesome video and deck!

What cards did you drop in as replacements?

@@Lord_of_Itza Threw in some helpful hobs, salmon of knowledge, sylven splendor, and kettletop leprechaun. Pretty basic faeries that i felt would synergize a bit. Then only running one unique site to keep costs on it cheap. The three games I played came down to double deaths door, and managed to squeak out two wins. Overall super fun gameplay.

A very very fun concept I like it alot!, not enough decks out there really utilizing the movement mechanics in this game yet! Ill give this a whirl at my next precon.

The Postern Gate might make it fun for early attacks and for the Bailiff

Salmon of knowledge would be a thematically perfect card draw spell for your deck.

Interesting, may build something similar but with Avatar of Earth for an extra puncher.

also i think you really could consider drums of doom, it will shut down anything the opponent can do
@Lord_of_Itza18 күн бұрын
Drums was actually the original theme of this deck, trying to make a fortress of nine sites by moving the Druid up one space from his starting location.

@@Lord_of_Itza nice, also the trinket is pretty good with tawny, pudge can kill but survive killing other 5 power minions. and trinket can give druid a way to beat down as well. i am just trying to think with your low curve. at turn 5 and on with 5 sites what are you planning on doing with druid?
@Lord_of_Itza18 күн бұрын
I usually only have three or four sites on turn five, as I have flipped the Druid previously. Also, by that point in the game, it is usually not great to continue adding sites to the board, as this allows more escape routes for the enemy avatar. Now, giving my opponent a massive mana base could be problematic, but I found in play that because I have been so aggressive with the opponent's avatar, they have not necessarily been able to continue building their mana base while they tried to escape my realm.

For Led Astray, who chooses which direction they take a step, you or the opponent? Since it didn’t specify I figured the opponent would choose the direction of the step, but perhaps I’m wrong

Caster of the spell chooses
@Lord_of_Itza17 күн бұрын
Generally speaking, the caster of a spell gets to make the choices associated with the spell unless otherwise noted.

Would led astray affect a burrowed root spider?
@Lord_of_Itza16 күн бұрын
Because Led Astray targets a location, the spell caster would have to be in the same region. So, if one had a spell caster underground, this would work.

Do you need the Finwife when the deck runs on such a low mana curve?
@Lord_of_Itza15 күн бұрын
They have been invaluable so far. I am only putting out three sites in some games.
@WillJackson199218 күн бұрын
okay quick look at the decklist and 2 mins into the video... i like the deck... i think and my opinion is shit. but i think you have the right idea... the deck would be x2 as good if you played sorcerer. you have the perfect low cost curve to double draw with sorcerer. because druid can afford to play and tap to draw sites you almost want to get to 5 or 6 sites to play those 5 and 6 cost spells. so my only fear is with druid you may run out of steam of not having card draw and you wont be able to recover from removal. but honestly this does seem strong. druid flipping at the right time for bruin and the 1 damage from moving onto near sites is strong to keep the avatar as druid. so i DO like it. and i think more people should NOT be playing sorcerer. but my 1st thought when i see the low curve is dam this will be better as sorcerer... not as fun though... and thats what we need more of.... my tagline is BUILD THE DECKS YOU ENJOY WINNING WITH. not the decks you will win with.
@Lord_of_Itza18 күн бұрын
You are probably right about Sorcerer, but man, using Druid is just so much fun. Tawny pinging and Bruin beatings, not to mention how the Druid makes the escape painful.
@WillJackson199218 күн бұрын
100% and as long as its fun than I dont care! Fun is more important to me. The deck is good enough it will win and do well with druid. So dont listen to me.
