I found this old voice memo on my phone from Spring 2018 . I was in LA for a couple of months and while I was there I spent a bunch of time with my friend Noah Gersh, showing each other the music that we'd been working on. We used to drive around LA in Noah's car, blaring my demos on the speakers. Some evenings we'd drive back to his place and sit with acoustic guitars in the living room and just play through the songs together. It was during that time that I really figured out which songs I wanted to include on the album, and how to make those songs better.
This is a recording of me and Noah playing through Don't Talk About It at his house, before the song found its final form.
