That and Blue-Ray compatibility is the reason anyone has a PS3. But not having to pay for online made Sony lose a lot of money thus, PS3 was out in like 2008 but Xbox 360 in 2006 so Sony had more time for technology features. Concluding all of this-- If you only get PS3 to get online for free means you're to poor to get a 3 month gold membership for 20 bucks.
