I know you already moved in but for moving out or for moving in next year, a good tip for transporting your clothes is to keep them on the hangers, put a trash bag around it so they all stay together and nice so you don't have to fold and unfold and put them back on hangers. Definitely! I did that my freshman and sophomore year but all these clothes were already folded up and stored because they’re my summer clothes so I just brought them!

I have move in on Saturday and I'm excited and nervous because I'm not nearly ready for the expenses. I have an appartment style dorm so I feel like I need A LOT, hopefully with team work we won't need anything but I love that desk and I am aming to get a similar cart. I love the loft floor looks with the lights!

My step-mom is a professor at OSU. She says that people just pile all their stuff in dumpsters after they leave. It's weird because I like going to Target, I hope we run into each other sometime, I can guess which Target you were at, and they are building one on campus. I'm trying not to give away everything. I live in the Columbus State unofficial dorms (an apartment right next to it). You desk is really beautiful.

I love this room and I wish I lived in a dorm when I went to Ohio State because I think I would be so much better socially. Or even was apart of a sorority. BTW you are such an amazing young lady and I feel like we would be best friends. Fellow Buckeye out! :)

The dorms were a great learning and social experience for sure!!!! I appreciate it but I couldn’t do it all four years lol. Also living in my sorority house is a lot of fun. But I can only do it for one year. After that it gets to be too much sometimes. But it definitely is fun!

Yeah I thought they would be. Well I mean I actually went to the Lima campus of Ohio State so when I started as a freshman they didn't have dorms yet and then my sophomore they had some dorms and then they added more as the next years went by. And I get not wanting to do it all four years but I never got that experience and I feel like I wish I did because I am regretting it now with how bad I am socially.

Oh!! I feel you on the “why would I ever spend $40 dollars on a robe y’all”. I was online shopping because I was originally going to live in a residence hall with a communal bathroom (🤢) and was trying to find robes and they were either outrageously priced or had bad reviews. Then, I find out goodwill has a whole aisle dedicated to robes and pajamas and I find a nice, cute robe for $6.99. 🤯 couldn’t pass that opportunity up. The nice thing is that even though I switched residents halls (I will be living in a quad/suite style dorm with a bathroom attached) I will have a robe for the following years if I end up not being able to live in that same residence hall after my first year and for my own personal comfort with not wanting to run around naked after a shower 😂.

yeahhitstori i know you meant this for her, but it comes down to going through and picking what you always use and wear instead of thinking "oh this will be cute to go out in" knowing dang well that you prefer staying in or doing something way more laid back. It took me two years to finally downsize and realize i wear the same stuff all the time and won't need the dress i haven't worn in 2 years or 3 extra sets of school supplies. *Bring what you need and what you know you're gonna use*

^^ agreed!! I honestly only keep things I NEED and actually USE on a regular basis. I keep down on clutter items just for display and only buy things that will be of use to me long term. I honestly didn't downsize at all, it's more of just a lifestyle thing for me!
