The worst part of this is the fact that this song describes my entire life which consists of distancing myself from everyone (isolating), ignore everyone and pretend like I'm fine in front of everyone, being overworked by school and shit, my parents trying to tell me everything will be alright but I don't believe that because of the amount of times they told this exact same thing but in the end my life kept getting. tbh dk how much longer I can go. I'm 20 year old now and I'm currently a university student, I have been there before. Just hold a little bit, trust me when you look back, you will feel glad you did not stop even though you cried everyday and you felt your life is shitty. Let me tell you something, everyone feels shitty at some point. You just have to remember to be easy with yourself, accept that nobody can be perfect, but at least you are brave enough to start something and it's cool! Don't force yourself to be perfect, nobody likes to be forced and it applies to you too. You force a person to do something, he's going to hate you. You force yourself to do something, you are going to hate yourself. Be easy and kind with yourself, allow a room for mistakes because that what makes you actually learn and grow. If you struggle to be discipline, try to focus at one thing only (ex: have a constant sleep schedule or study at least 1 hour daily, etc). Make a to-do list and if you can't finish it all in a day, it's totally okay! You can continue tomorrow. You don't feel like doing homework but fear of failing the class? No worries! As long as your score is not 0, and just do as much to get the minimum score required to pass the class. In short, find a balance to compromise with yourself. Another advice from me, don't forget to play around and do stupid things once in a while. Make friends or at least have a hobby, something you really like to do. Because trust me, once you enter the age of 20s, people around you expect you to behave like an adult, and you have more responsibilities, so do it while you can. I also suggest you to do social media detox once in a while and spend time to see or listen or do something that makes you feel good. Hope that helps 🥰
