I like how Pelleas is a harsh contrast to other FE MCs. He's shy, awkward and ill prepared for what is supposedly his birthright(the Daein Throne). He's a prince yet he lacks in any proper communication skills, political knowledge and general education. What few traits he shares with other FE lords such as his kindness, naïveté and his love for the people in his country all lent themselves to his tragic fall, he believed so much in Isuka as an advisor, he didn't realize he had put his country into a worse situation than before his ascention to the throne, he was then tricked into giving his life to save Daein from being subjugated by Begnion's Senate, which just left Daein without its king and further worsened the situation(unless Micaiah stopped him anyway). Pelleas is beautifully tragic cause he's nothing like the noble princes and princesses that he's meant to resemble, poor guy was picked to be a puppet king purely because he kinda looks like Ashnard.

To save pelleas simply play the game again on a cleared playthrough, then refuse to kill him, he will live to search for a way around the blood pact, then he is the only playable dark sage (1 of 2 characters who can use dark magic)

Yeah the blood pact thing with pelleas was really sad, but also really well done. Really great part of the story. If only they had left the support convos this would've been the best fire emblem I've ever played. Anyway this music is pretty fitting for pelleas, a harpiscord and oboe really fit him. this was just too sad. on first playthrough, pelleas had to died. then on second gameplay, he could be spared but just about he revenged izuka, he founds out he was nothing but an innocent that was fooled and was just a puppet for izuka. ooohhhh sorrowful prince pelleas. i can understand how much pain you had to endure form beginning to the end.

Pelleas is very strong when you can control him give him your XP bonus and when he is in the next level he can do 25X2 damage and when you must fight at the ashera's tower versus dragons, use the attack "fenhir" he kills the dragon in one shoot

@MiniBowser41 You have to play on the clear save data, which means who have to beat the game at least once. Then, when the art come to kill him, you have an extra choice to not kill him. He'll be playable as a dark sage at the beginning of Part 4, though he'll be an enemy at Part 3 Endgame.

Pelleas can do a lot in 4-5, but only if you had the good sense to get him to Arch Sage in Valtome's level he can use the Thoron tome which absolutely rapes the feral dragons,
