(Vent) I’ve also made a similar choice awhile ago but in a different way. We also had a lot and we spent years together, I experienced and felt a lot of emotions I never did while we were together but I was always one to make bad choices and create misunderstandings. Maybe it’s because we were almost complete opposites but we could relate with one another in some way’s that we shouldn’t and that much alone made me feel at home with him. I’m honestly fine with being his shadow as long as he sees me, I’m fine with it. I like seeing him happy and I know he tells me I make him happy all the time but I can’t shake the thoughts that I might be a burden and that I’m just wasting his time. So I left for a whole year, I did message him but we used to talk and play everyday so of course, it’s different. I know it’s not tolerable and it was really selfish but I want to start making better choices for us, for me, or for him. I’m not too sure about it but asking a third perspective sounds better than just asking myself since there’s probably something I’m not seeing. You don’t have to but do you as a third perspective think I should let both of us move on or try again and see how he reacts? Well either would be hard but personally I’d like to try again, I think that’s too selfish though. I’m okay with being selfish if it makes us both happy though.
