There's a lot of times where going well over is insanely good, Fighters get better when there is 6 of them because they can back to back link. Mages also are good in batches of 3, and lots of mutations give them extra spells

To be more exact. Imagine you are playing TFT and got a bunch of 5 cost units on your team, some of them 3 stars. That is what getting multiple high tier units to level 3 in Despot is like.

A few thoughts about this game..., it is worth it to buy extra people, even without weapons as you get into harder floors. If your front-liners die, and drop their eqipment you can just re-equip a new dude. Worst case you can sacrifice a dude for food, additionally there were some low level solid defensive mutations NL didn't get. Later on into the game, maintaining the health on your front-liners will prevent your back line squishies from all getting killed. He had too many ranged units of different types and not enough front liners or a focused build for his back-liners. Additionally he got unlucky on 2 events losing out on 60 tokens and instead getting 2 useless mutations. Any number of these things could have probably helped him continue the run.

also just completely ignores tanks that will pull aggro away from his DPS. if you have 3 tanks in the front row, the fencers won't even really get hit much.

@@butterdubs2267 yeah you need some of everything pretty much to win this game. when you work out the proper team composition then it becomes easy TBH. eggheads can do secondary healing and obviously tanks tank damage. I feel if he'd just gotten tanks earlier he'd have gotten much further. I seen someone play this with the dev coaching them and they made sure to get tanks and to rotate damaged units to be healed. He got the rotating down, but for some reason completely ignored tanks. also that mutation that brought back healers probably would have been decent.

18:36 your excalibur guy is fully healed and still has 3 healers on him, while your other 2 fencers are nearly dead and have none on them. You should have rotated 2 battlers prior. rotating the guys being healed is key to success in this game. PS: you need tanks, you keep ignoring tanks. If you have shielded guys in the front row they will help keep your fencers alive by pulling aggro. you need shields first row, fencers second row.

EGG.. you are an amazing piece of burger meet; U're surely smart enough to realize that certain meat is better depending what U equip it with.. check the shop, there's more than one type of burger ;)... the more you upgrade the shop the better the burgers taste.. >:)

framerate is the biggest problem with this game, I though it was because of my potato pc but apparently isn't

if you would like some tips. cycle your guys. you can see all their health by pressing alt. keep your healers in the back, and move any seriously damaged units to the back to be healed. also have a row of tanks, a row of mele and then your various ranged types behind them, with healers in the very back. I'm not sure if you should do phys ranged then magic ranged, not sure it matters all that much. having tanks at the front and mele in the second row seems to help a lot though, as you want you tanks to get there first, then mele second. EDIT: seems you have learned the healer rotation tactic already. that's great to see as it's pretty much the key to success. Make sure to heal your dudes up.
