Sorry Not Sorry | Episode 05 Chaiya Chaiya | by Quick Style

Sorry Not Sorry is a new show we developed to challenge ourselves creatively, but with a painful twist. The concept is that 2 teams go up against each other, where each team gets a song and a keyword they need to implement into their routine. We invite some familiar faces, both dancers and non-dancers to be our guest judges besides the host and main judge Bilal Malik.
To make this a bit more difficult and exciting there is a time limit to the challenge, and the choice of songs is a bit more flavored than your typical Friday night playlist.
We created this concept because we wanted to show a bit more of ourselves and our team at Quickstyle Studio. Instead of just doing a vlog and talking about what happens behind the curtains, we wanted to create something that could show you guys a sneak peek into our process.

I don't think so, it was maybe close though. The technical preciseness, the symmetry, and completeness was in Suleman's work. From a design point of view, Suleman showed principles of design in his work. Did you not notice the lines of symmetry in his work? How Suleman's team created a flower, deflowered away from the centre, and then reflowered back in. That's symmetry right there. Also note, movements were radially outwards, and then went radially went back in. There were also revolutions resembling circlehood. And then Suleman's moment where he breakdanced was very difficult to do. From a technique, control, design choice point of view, Suleman has that edge in my opinion. That isn't saying Nasir was bad, they are both so good that it is a tight competition.

I love how Nasir's team portrayed the story of "Dil se" movie and gave all the train dance vibe. Suleman's team done a great job that part when Suleman jumped out and did it alone and that guy who was within circle was brilliant their starting was also too good and the sense of musicalty they have🤌🏻 but I found myself continuously smiling throughout the entire performance of Nasir's team ❤ it was fun to watch as it was like i was also dancing with them, to be honest I enjoyed more seeing them because it was full of humour because of their funny story and great acting skills.

I dont think many people understand what exactly happened in Suleman team but the judge’s tears were enough indication of how deeply the choreography was entangled with the spirit of the song, Suleman said the song sends him to a trance and u could so easily tell how true that was for him.. I personally watched their performance couple of times and had my jaw on the floor each time, Nasir’s team performance was creative and fun and lovely but Suleman team did it for me, well deserved ❤ Its the 21:19 on for me, my men put their soul into those moves😭 Also the part which Oskar? We already know they're incredible dancers who can choreograph bomb routines in time crunch. In this episode I saw so many new elements, new steps being implemented in Nasir's team today. I loved the floor section with Nasir and William and the pull up bar section. 🤌🏼 Sully telling Dilen to not even showin his face when expressive parts come😛 Sully's Team in that circular part smashed it. Sully goes real hard and wears his emotion on his sleeves when choreographing. He's so emotionally into it. Oh goddd daaammm i have to say this was soooo soooosoooo damn eccentric..like just blown away i swear. Even though they danced on the same song. The vibes were completely different. Nasir's team was definitely more vibrant so joyous and they made it lively totally deserved the win. Specifically that move when they danced with their bodies in the air holding the pipe uff. But but but Suleman oh god of god that team just terrific. They felt the song. They felt the lyrics and thtough their moves i could feel that song even though the lines they selected were slow but they made it sooooo meaningful i believe that was an art. I love it! Every time I think you can't do better, you somehow find a way to outdo yourself guys. Seeing Nasir's team I couldn't stop laughing, I really felt like they were telling me a story, and Suleiman's team!
