I've another casio beside which I believe is the most beautiful of this series, bought in 2013 model number bem-501-1av in white dial-brown strap & was able to find your watch at 5 times the price. This series was so cool when there were very few chronograph watches

Thank you for this video. I've been hunting these treasures for a while and you gave a good clue, Vietnam. I've also found out that Casio bypassed their regular channels. Instead they sold them directly to supermarkets, often big chains unique for that country. Some with franchises. They have them laying around dusty in some remote part of the shop where usually no one buys the watches anyway. I've finally been able to track down a few with help of business contacts in East Asia. They have hired people for me, checking everything from markets in Japan to sari-sari shops in Philippines. It's not a cheap operation, but well worth it. Not only are these Casio Beside model immensely beautiful and rare, but they will for sure be worth a lot in the future. Happy hunting everyone! 🙂

I also want to add that I will not buy all of these enigmatic Casio Besides I find, even when I believe they will be pretty valuable in 5-10 years from now. I will settle for one color each and maybe one for my wife and a friend or two. Rest (if any) I will leave for other hunters to find, but I will not reveal where. 😉
