Seunghyub (N.Flying's leader) was also exempted from military service. Had two surgeries on his leg and they still exempted him. I hope people are aware that it takes a lot to be exempt from service (thinking of idols like Heechul who still can't really dance for long periods of time due to his car accident and was still a public service worker). Also the timing of the injury in relation to the medical examination is a factor.

Just to correct what you are saying at 1:42, NCT DREAM have already announced the date for their comeback, which is March 25, not in April. Also, TXT is having a comeback on April 1st (a week after NCT Dream's) so I can't wait for the unboxing videos of both NCT Dream & TXT new albums!

I read that if you’ve ever had a torn ACL and subsequent surgery, then you are automatically deemed a level 5. I’m not sure if that’s true but it would make sense because it’s a very easy thing to re-injure. That also means Coups could be in relatively good shape now even if he will always face some level of risk of re-injury.

I think Joshua’s enlisting too 😢 apparently if you have Korean nationality you have to go. So him and Vernon are allegedly enlisting 🫠

I believe it's based on citizenship. Shua was born in the US and he has a United States citizenship so he doesn't have to go. Vernon, on the other hand, has to make a choice when he comes of age since I believe he has both citizenships.
