Today, we will look at the results of the Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life Bachelor and Bachelorettes polls! A special thank you to everyone who has subscribed and made the community tab possible! Also, thanks to everyone who voted in the poll! I love you all.

You should do these polls again when the games come out. I’m curious how the community’s opinion is going to change since right now we’re just basing it on appearance/nostalgia and it very much could change once we see them in game.

Yeah! It will be interesting to see if after the game comes out and we can see all of the heart scenes, if people will still have the same opinions about them!

Matthew has protagonist hair lol I always wanted to see Cody as bachelor. If only they included that mad scientist too :) Also, Nami is expected besides her redesign, she's... well... Nami 😄

Hmm.. I still somehow feel that Lumina's inclusion in the bachelorette pool is odd. I get it, she was featured as a potential wife in the original AWL:se however even then her shy, young personality threw me off compared to Muffy (Molly), (Ce)Celia and Nami. I think if Flora had been there instead of Lumina, things would be different.

I'm not surprised about Nami and marlin (matthew) being at the top they are both my favorites, although I am surprised that muffy(molly) got so low she's also in my top favorites. It's going to be really hard trying to pick who I marry first.

Well, it was a lot closer for the bachelorettes! Nami only got about 1/3 of the votes while Marlin got almost 1/2 votes! Nami won by 4% whereas Marlin won by 24%!

Yeah, I'm surprised by the results as well. I'm sure some people were torn (as I was). I actually voted for Lumina because I am most curious about her having not had the newer version where she was an option. Perhaps people decided to vote for what was familiar/nostalgic? Cecilia would be my #4, so I was surprised to see her so high. I thought Molly would take first with Nami second. But they were close! For the guys, I'm not surprised Rock is #4, but I thought it would be closer between the others. Matthew getting 48% is surprising to me.

It seems our opinions on them are very similar, haha. Yeah, I think Lumina is in last because her initial model still looks a bit too young. I’m also curious what her heart scenes will be like!

@@elithegaymer That's a good point! She still looks a bit youthful. I think this new feature that they age overtime could hopefully fix that, if people are willing to give her a chance at the start. Her heart scenes could also sway me one way or another!

I’m totally team Gustafa! He is such a supportive husband. I don’t know how Matthew was able to score so high. He’s literally in love with Cecilia before you even meet him. He is really cute but I let my girl Cecilia have him. Rock is my best bud. In my head canon, he was the first person I came out as gay to so he kept joking about being the man of my dreams. He also likes lumina and lumina gets mad if you take him. Nami actually has some love events with Cody if you don’t marry either of them and I like to see them together. It makes sense with my head canon. Nami admits to having a bit of a crush on Gustafa in her first year rival scene but finds out he’s gay and married me so she then falls for Gordy. This is bad of me but Molly has a scene every year that you won’t see if you marry her. She’s just sad and lonely, but she’s my best friend and my kid’s godmother so… don’t judge me on how much I thought about this. So glad this remake let me live out my gay fantasy life.

As a kid I always wanted to marry Muffy, but I married Nami bc I felt bad for her and thought she'd leave the game permanently if I didn't. Nami's still a close 2nd! They're both seriously good characters and so cute, it was hard to choose! I can't wait to finally marry Molly as a girl! I'll probably copy my save file to marry both. I tried to romance Rock in Another Wonderful Life bc I thought he was the cutest bachelor, but then I couldn't stand his personality lol. I should've talked to the other bachelors more. I'm happy I don't have to choose between playing as a girl and romancing the bachelorettes anymore.

Lumina as the least voted bachelorette I can understand since her age could be a bit controversial, she was 15 in the original but was aged up to 18 in Special Edition and the remake. Matthew took me by surprise, maybe lots of people dig his redesign! Rock on the other hand makes perfect sense, I know he's one of the best looking bachelors but his personality from the original would be a deal breaker even for me.

I think anyone who played the GC version of this game might have been squicked out by Lumina because she was originally underage in the Japanese version. They had to age her up internationally. Here at least, she's absolutely of legal age, although...barely. She's eighteen.

The females remind me of real world counterparts in my life. Cecelia is my favorite because she looks like an animated version of my actual wife. Molly looks like my wife’s best friend down to the clothing style and the mark next to her eye, except her friend is naturally brown-haired. Nami looks like a skinnier version of my ex wife, and Lumina reminds me of my daughter which is too awkward.

I feel like Gustafa is definitely the most underrated bachelor in this game! I wasn’t interested in him until I actually played the game. He’s actually really nice.

My personal Ranking for both is Celia/Cecilia Lumina Nami Molly/Muffy Marlin/Matthew Gustafa Cody Rock I've married my top 3 bachelorettes... Never got to play AnWL but I always befriend Gustafa and Marlin by year 2

If Gustafa’s new design was closer to his old design, I might put him a bit higher, but I’m not really feeling his new design. I’m excited that in the new game we will finally be able to marry a variety of different characters (unlike the original three games that locked it down to only 3 or 4)!

I remember thinking he was a public nuisance as a kid and he's always been dead last for me for the bachelors (though I don't like Marlin or Gustava's redesigns so he's in a three-way tie for last place now lol). I don't have receipts for his antics but he just had that vibe of a cocky kid who messed around and found out.

Matthew is simply the hottest, like Cody (Gordy) is a close 2nd for me but his in game model makes him look really odd almost like a ken doll. but I dont find Gustafa or Rock attractive at all. and Matthew is a shy boi who cares a lot but doesnt know how to express it. which we can all get behind as adorable right? the others are great in their own ways but matthew feels like he actually somewhat has a connection to the player. Gustafa and Rock didnt do it for me they seem a lot more like friend material for the player, and I havent seen Codys heart scenes but based on his introduction and how he generally acts he seems more self focused. which is all dandy but atleast at the start it feels 1 sided. Matthew on the otherhand does want to help but he isnt sociable and he does like you and gets very flustered at any praise you give him which shows that it means a lot to him. and as a fellow farm hand he definitely feels like the the counterpart to Cecelia due to him like crops and being passionate about his work.

Hehe i always have the worst choices 🤣😅 but i find it funny, i think it's because i haven't played the old games so i don't have any bad opinions about Rock🤔... but let's see how things goes. I choose Molly on the girls side, even thought i won't marry any of the girls 😅 i find hers and Nami designs are really cute. I think everyone looks charming on this game.

I never played A wonderful life but i did play Harvest Moon DS. I never really cared for Lumina. I think i romanced everyone except her. I don't know. She looked always too young for me and never really interested me.

I think lumina might have got so low, and I would kinda agree 😬, is because she still looks kinda young in comparison to the others. Like it’s GREAT they aged her up a bit because in SE she was grossly young, but even now she still looks a lot younger then the rest of them. I voted Molly ❤️ as for the bachelors, I vote Cody but I still wish they would have made him the human punch of muscles he was in the original

My ratings overall (male/female) would be from high to low: Celia, Lumina, Nami, Mullet Man Marlin, Cody, Witch Hat Gustafa, Muffy, with Rock/Mathew/New Gustafa tied for last. Molly might go higher in the new game cause I never gave her a chance as a kid.

The ladies win out despite me not at all being gay for any of them just cause I'm so used to playing OG AWL and also just never vibed with the dudes as much. Only started appreciating Marlin as an adult as before that Gustafa was kinda the price for being able to play as a lady at all (though I'm happy he's out there living his best life and he can have all the cow milk he can drink) I'll miss gentle giant Cody though he was a gem.
