I cat sit a neutered cat for a few months. He was peeing outside the box and scratching at the walls. I thought he was just missing his family. When he went back to his family, he had a very advanced bladder infection that affected his kidneys. He has it before he came and we thought it was behavioral. We can't wait if we have $500 to spare, it isn't really sparing, it is healthcare.
