my absolutely favorite detail in this entire series is that in the credits of this episode, Rose is no longer credited as such, instead she is called 666

A very nice detail is that Rose was actually already shown in the very first episode as being part of shadow garden. Towards the end of the episode when the montage of the other world happened, you could see her for a moment from the back, with the hair already cut

he was called to the city few times by Alpha , he tried to go there once but got lost (he forgoten were exactly the place is ) , so he never got there again , as far as he is consdidered the city is just some ruins he and his friends find out and tried to used as a cool shadow base

The mist dragon was retconned into the anime because it’s actually part of the “rise of the garden: ancient dragon of Alexandria” storyline from the gotcha game. This cannon game exclusive story recently got adapted to manga titled “The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden ~Seven Shadows Chronicles~”. It a fun manga that I hope gets an anime adaptation to hold the fan base during the wait for new main story.

Any chance you'll watch the short series Kagejitsu? It comments directly on season one and gives more shadow garden character bits...

I am pretty sure Kagejitsu is for season 2, one episode of kagejitsu after 1 episode of eminence in shadow season 2... some are just slice of life, other complete the lore of the matching episode EDIT : Nevermind, there is 2 season of Kagejitsu, but it began on episode 4 of season 1 (17 for season 1), but there is one per episode for season 2 (12 total, matching the episodes)... So yes, I would welcome the reaction of season 1 in bulk, but I would recommand to follow the episode of season 2 with the matching episode of Kagejitsu. I should have verified that for myself before...
