Leaving an mc that took literally years to get in felt like a divorce but 90% of my brothers understood and gave me their blessings, it felt like going through a divorce or death of a family member but the love, loyalty and respect will always be there. When your a real one and doing it for real reasons your able to walk away from the life with your dignity and honor. Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t easy but a man must do what a man must do.

Sometimes unforseen circumstances are the reason for leaving. I made the hard decision to leave/ retire due to throat Cancer. Not knowing what the outcome would be with my Cancer I chose to retire. I felt I wasn't able to represent the MC fully like I should so I spoke to the Nat Pres & left on good terms & not out bad. Unfortunately I haven't heard from the majority of the "brothers" that I rode with. I'll always be a 1%er Nomad, I earned a diamond yrs ago so it stays with me just as I will always be a Nomad. I'm no longer affiliated with any 1% MC's & hold no ill will against anyone. I'm in remission now & over 40yrs riding & over 1/2 in the MC/Outlaw biker life. I choose to live, love & ride on my terms now. Great video Sose, take care. ML & R brother. 1%er Nomad 4Life "Wyldman"

I left a small club to make a run at my current club. I did it the right way and that entire club showed up at my 60th birthday to drink a shot with me. From the other perspective, I have a few guys that left my club that I maintain relationships with because they are still my brothers. Also, there are a few guys in other clubs that I consider brothers even though we wear different patches.

I’m in a motorcycle ministry and I watch your videos frequently to get informed on how to approach and how things are for clubs. I enjoy every minute of it. I did grow up around some club members and one man who was like a second father to me was in a club. My best friend is actually a 1% now and he has even extended hand to help me get in where he is a couple times. I was totally flattered that he thought I was 1% material but I politely declined as I know it’s more than I could give.

This man has solid principles and walks the talk. It takes more courage to remain true to one's self than to use a gang as a crutch to hold up an unprincipled and corrupt ego. It should be mandatory for anyone joining a gang to prove themselves as a solid individual who will hold the line from the more sinister demons who will push their agenda. As someone who has left one of the majors on good terms, the answer is its case by case basis.i moved back home to take care of sick family and we had no chapters in my home state. Some people still call me brother and show me love, other dudes who swore they would die for me wont even answer my call anymore. Some of the ones who turned their back hurt not gonna lie and made me feel a certain way, but at the end of the day I still have nothing but love for my former club and want them to succeed

Totally Agree, I with 3 other guys from a dealership (one having some connection with local dominant) we formed a club and we did it the Right Way with the Dominants blessing all the way, Started with a Slickback and a 5 inch front patch, then we earned a 10 inch back patch, then after more time, a 3 piece with a City Rocker, and Finally a State Rocker, Job caused me to move and i turned in my patches and we were all good, but the long miles apart we fell out of touch and i heard out 1st President passed. Well After the Lessons i got from that club i started others one i had ties to going back to when i was a kid riding a dirt bike in the 70's and then later i was approached by a 1% club and asked to start a support club but this time Both 1% clubs had High demands of us and kept taking members to grow their own numbers and it eventually killed both clubs, and i went a different route and prospected for a 99% club, and suddenly i was a Peria of my former clubs that i had created and their 1% parent clubs. And i'm ok with it know the truth and the person who caused the issue to begin with my former partner is no longer around and i'm no longer in the club world at all but leaving a club as long as you're out good is no Biggy but you ARE NO LONGER A MEMBER so you will no longer be treated like a member and shouldn't expect to be. and then you have the Bullshit out bad for political reasons some famous ones in the news of late.

I know a pastor who is running a motorcycle ministry. He doesn’t talk much about his past as a 1%er, but he is open about the fact that a Hells Angel got him a spot for a professionally supervised drug withdrawal way before he had become a believer. I have no idea whether he was ever a full member, but he still gets invites for club invents. Also other bigger and also smaller MCs invite him to their events. I guess he was a fully patched member? No idea. I never asked him as of yet. I’m not sure whether I ever will, or whether I even should. I can see the respect he is getting from 1%er MCs of course, and I know that I respect him as both a pastor and a human being. Also, I am glad that 1%ers here obviously have a pastor to whom they can relate to what with his past. So yeah, I can imagine that it is possible to leave the 1%er life while still being sort of close to it.

I left a 99% club that supported 1% club due to seeing betrayal lies and power hungry board members me being a board member myself...I seen all the shit that was going on I seen the patch meant more than riding meant more than understanding brotherhood and living it and even though 6 out of 11 members thought the pres was power hungry at times, out of line, or lying repeatedly the other board members would continue to ignore the behavior either out of fear because how well liked the prez was with other chapters or just not wanting to risk their position in their own chapter. I finally had enough I had a medical condition take me down during a event and the pres didn't care and said I made the club look weak ignored bylaws kicked me from my position to a lower position on the board and then when I tried to do that position I was constantly talked shit about or not even allowed to fulfill those duties cause the the board wouldnt give me the info I needed to keep proper track of $...I decided they've lost sight of what brotherhood means and just crave power they wanted to act like 1% but then play by their own rules over bylaws so I said I'm leaving and when asked why I left by the enforcer for the whole mc nation I said with no disrespect or malice this is the truth this is what happened...the chapter I left got in trouble and wanted me "out bad" for that honesty and continued to lie to their superiors and I had the proof they were lying ...long story I'm not out bad but I'll never rejoin that chapter or that club again...the way you talk and your attitude towards brotherhood would pull me from 99% to 1% if everyone in 1% was like you Sose but for now I'm enjoying my lone wolf lifestyle no rules no dues no mandatory crusing in town I can travel on my bike again I can ride where I want how I want and with whoever I want and I couldn't be happier

Originally clubs did take bikes. You made a commitment to the club and your bike was collateral to get in. They use to build a bike from ground up and ride it. Lot of parts were stolen to build these bikes. It was when members started financing their bikes that taking the bike slowed down or stopped. It’s harder to take a bike when it’s financed and the company has a lean on the bike.

I will never join another club they were my first and only, the lifestyle was not for me or my lifestyle, I left of my own accord. I still love all my brother especially the ones I have close ties too and nothing changes for me but that life, if you ain’t about it be honest with yourself be honest with your brothers if you are too scared to speak up it will be that kind of cowardess that gets someone you care about hurt or worse, all I’m saying is if it ain’t you don’t let your brothers find out the hard way be honest with yourself look yourself in the mirror and if it’s you be you if it ain’t then don’t be someone your not, ML&R Sose,

I can hear ya Bro, I left IO, all the "brothers" just forgot I exist...Sad thing, (was just out NOT OIB), got in an argument with the prez, no colors, no club function, just 2 men, he pussed and tried to OIB me, nat's told him no, but I went out anyway, but was totally blindsided by my "Brothers" many of whom I really thought were my Brothers, just acted like I don't exist, my opinion, their loss, not mine, at least I know I can depend on me. There's more but irrelevant. I agree 100%, if they had really been my Brothers, they still would be.

Some clubs will take your bike when your out bad .I know a situation where a P went out bad because he couldn’t get the bike from a person in his charter that went bad .the big dogs of the club told him to either get the bike or pay the money out of pocket .He ended up deciding to drop out . Eventually they came to collect his bike from him to . I’m not going to name drop the club but it’s a very well known club worldwide.

Great info as always. Respect. Update on Sturgis for ya. Lots of fun but lots of wrecks and a few deaths. One of our brothers went down yesterday but is good broke his elbow and got a big goose egg on his noggin. ✌️

I left good in 2010. I still talk and associate with former club Brothers and who still treat me like a "Brother". Not is not the same for everyone who leaves. Each club is different. Yeah, the overall sentiment about leaving is similar across clubs, each one still is different. And it also has become fashionable in the past 20 or so years to use "out bad" as a weapon against guys certain members may dislike. Seen it happen many times. The club scene is being infected by ghetto culture on one side and the very selfish "me me me" culture on the other. I am glad i left when i did.

In the statement of leaving another club, and joining with another.. that’s also a lengthy process.. just from what I’ve been around.. there’s a lot of politics when it comes to leaving a 1%er club, and putting on a different patch.. tho I’ve never been in a club.. my father was with the Avengers.. he left on the A team, and some of his “brothers” don’t talk to him, and there was “brothers” that had left right behind him, and talk to him more now than they did while they were in the club.. and even to this day, if I’m out on my bike, and run into gentlemen from the club.. I get treated with respect and love.. Also, we met at beaver bar in myrtle beach bike week.. love and respect… Ginger

from my limited knowledge,if you leave an outlaw club you are out and better off keeping away, why prelong the break off by pretending to be a friend ,if your miss the life its your fault maybe theres a good reason you went but your gone.i find when club members talk of these ex members its usually only to bring them down and even when they transfer to another chapter they still slag them off. bikes could be club property as well as all other club stuff they get taken off you, again bikes can be club owned or a members property .all clubs have diffrent rules and situations.i think generally when you leave you really hurt that club and you need to be wary of them.

I was once with a Parachuting club that did military parachuting in Europe. They played a guy dirty, bad mouthed him and them banned him from the club. Like the MC world in the Military parachuting clubs shit goes sideways with people who go on ego trips. I knew this Brother. He was a French Foreign Legion. 20 years in was a total "Master Blaster" ( ie he had over 5 combat drops and over 200 hundred drops) He taught me and was a mentor. When he was ragged on and kicked out. I quit the club with immediate effect. In Europe that is the same thing as saying F you!! I took ALL the club patches, burned them, put them in an envelope with a letter as to what the ashes were. That is a slap in the face to the club. I didn't care. Never heard a word or even a fart from them. The club ended up with a shit bag reputation in the end. No one wants to deal with them now. Karma, it has no menu, they got what they deserved!! Don't jump no more anyway. But am proud I did when I did both in the service and out! AATW (AATW means Airborne All The Way!) Besides it gets a little old being shit-clapped by the earth coming in at 25 mph. JEEZ...I am getting old!! 😜😜
