The reason why many girl groups exists nowadays is because of Girls' Generation. They remove the prejudice that only boy groups can dominate and live long as a group. I think this reason alone is the reason why SNSD is a legend. The MV views, the album sales, the digital sales, newer groups would surpass that but SNSD's legacy legacy will never be forgotten.

They were crying all the time because they were the first Girl group who reached important milestone in Kpop.Their journey is addicting, and their impact during their peak is I believe still the highest or biggest compared with the new generation.They opened Hallyu, only edge of new ggs this gen is that Kpop is already big and streaming internet is really accessible. There's a story behind the no.3 incident.. I just read somewhere that if GG missed out the broadcast that time they can't promote to that music show for a whole year(some said it's a broadcast law)...imagine if they really missed it out it can damaged their starting career that time.. Ps:the outro music is their Japanese song "Flyers".

@@ddoie279 That makes sense in a way, that programs would set a penalty like that so artists wouldn't say they will be on the show - The music show (which airs live) alots time and prepares for them, and then they skip out and the show has to improvise somwhow to fill the time. Luckily that day, SNSD's label-mates, TVXQ, were supposed to close the show. When they heard what happened to SNSD they decided to perform early, taking the girls' time-slot and giving them time to reach the studio. So they just made it in time to perform the final stage of the program and then immediatly after, they got their win :D No wonder they were so emmotional and crying, I can't imagine how stressed they were.

Girls' Generation has done more to promote the Korean culture all over the whole wide world than any other kpop group that followed combined. Bigbang may be the one who made the biggest/most money, record sales and sold out concerts in history, but it's Girls' Generation that have captured everyone's heart and instill to their hearts and mind the beauty of the Korean culture. And that is legacy and history. Nobody can take that away, ever. Awesome video/reaction! I don't know you but you seem to be a nice and genuine person with a good heart. Great reaction. I would highly recommend watching all their concerts just to see how much SNSD has grown and get a broader taste of their discographies. I've been to their concerts in South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and to US performances including SM Town at Madison Square garden. You won't regret watching those dvds/blurays of the concerts. Their music healed my soul after losing my mother and dealing with depression over the last 9 years. The fact that they brought together so many people from all faces of the Earth before youtube and streaming media was a big thing...it's just a once in a lifetime experience. they really are freaking amazing. fun fact soshi was the first group in kpop EVER to use photocards and so they started the tradition. they're also the first gg ever to recieve a disk daesang, and probably the only, not sure about twice tho. They're also the only gg to win daesang 3 years in a row. they're insanely iconic and it makes my heart warm that all the girls are still very close

Oh, this video is from Malaysia Sone. I am from Malaysia too !! SNSD group name was named so meaningful and it is a very good name in my opinion. Girls Generation, represent a Generation, a Lengendary exist. And I think it's also represent their youth time, even the fans youth time. It is a name that full of memories, meaning and feelings. Actually that is definitely not easy for any people to use Generation this words to represent themselves, but Girls Generation definitely carried up this title so successfully. They are definitely a Generation, a Legend that have this big of influence towards peoples all around the worlds.
