唔單止慢咗。有時會無反應一段時間。而且連接國内服務器也不穩定或直接失敗。問題已經存在一段長時間，情況越來越差。好煩。要考慮backup solution或轉台。早幾日我也發現這VoWIFI新功能，默認被打開了，但對我沒有什麽鳥用處，（找過了一下手機設定，竟然沒有地方可以簡單關閉這功能），不能改變網絡質素下降帶來的憤怒不滿感覺。

that is technically possible, if they don't use ip geolocation(say only wifi in hk allows connection). this is one thing I hope it supports so I can pick up my 3 international and pay local rate when I am abroad.

@@user-fungja005 looks like they do check exit ip geo location. I used a data sim on another phone(singapore ip) and vowifi is not available even I am currently in hk. But local wifi(home) works. So to use this, one must use a roaming data card(from hk) as hotspot. I know 3 diy has global coverage which is 'reasonably' priced for this purpose. not sure other offers. the deciding factor would be exit ip

@@biohazardta I can turn that on but in airplane mode, I cannot make any calls, keep on telling me to connect to wifi(even though it is and I can browse without issue) or disable airplane mode edit: today(jan 10 2025), I can use vowifi.

vowifi doesn't need roaming which if they allow is used as local call in hk. But whether they allow is unknown. I would know later when I am back to my NA home.

one possible usage is if your sim doesn't support roaming(or expensive), you may be able to use it when you are abroad as if you are still in hk. say hsbc call you when you are in usa

@@fanpatrick2897 well first it may not be a public wifi, secondly the wifi could be a hotspot from another sim(which gives cheaper data). beside, who do you think you are that worth the trouble of someone planned a wifi for you to use and hack your phone, it is not that easy :-) btw, i for one would love my 3 gives me vowifi so I can pickup/make calls when I am in my home in vancouver. it is like 24hkd/min roaming if I remember

@@fanpatrick2897 it doesn't need to be 'public' wifi and I don't think I am of any interest for anyone to specifically setup a public wifi(and attract me to use it) then through it hack my phone, it is not that easy(very expensive software). I would love vowifi so I can pick up calls when I am in my home in vancouver instead of paying 24hkd/min
