He’s giving me major Top Gun Goose vibes as well 😍 As always, keep doing the wonderful work you do. You are a great source for me to vett something I may be interested in before buying a FB. Hubby loves his Vibrato; I’ll wear it by spraying in the air and walking through it. Leans more masculine but I love the freshness of it in my hair. Great review. I got a decant of Erba Oud and the opening is beautifully animalic like I wanted and love. But the Oud is completely gone from my skin after one hour and I’m left with a super realistic juicy orange. Almost like Orange Sanguine, but it lasts forever and I actually really like it for the summer.

Very interesting. I bought atomizers from Maxaroma and ended up buying full bottles of Opera Grande and Contralto. I have also just placed an order for Accento Viola and Afgano Puro. I’m a big fan of Christian Provenzano and a lot of these fragrances smell similar to fragrances he made for Boadicea the Victorious.

Just bought dolce melodia and absolutely love LOVE it. I usually go for the citrus and fresh vibes…but wanted something sweeter for a change and wow…they got the combination right. Not too Vanillic…it’s delicious. Love your site btw…😊

Basso smells like a simplified version of Oligarch / Isola Blu to me. Erba Gold is an even better less vegetal version of Erba Pura.

For me Afgano Puro is really powdery take on the theme of "Black Afgano". Where Black Afgano is more "airy" Afgano Puro is really sickly sticky powdery, baby powder mixed with some tobacco flowers and musk. Did not enjoy it one bit!

Sergio Momo and his endless shenanigans 😅 Sospiro fragrance are still under Xerjoff umbrella, like they always were. They are distributed by the same people , staff/merchandisers are instructed to position Sospiro bottles exactly the same way they always were , right next to Xerjoff in all European niche boutiques . Not his first ride , since he's done this not ones, but multiple times with all Sospiro , Casamorati and Kemi lines ... in and out every other year ... the latest move was discontinuing the Kemi line , and officially , and immediately bringing it back as Xerjoff in new bottles 😅 A lot of brands are doing the same thing , some for marketing , some for tax evading reasons , or both. It's a bit of Chris Maurice and Christian Carbonnel type of shenanigan ... Coincidence or not my SOTD is Tony Iommi Monkey Special

When I search for Sospiro Dolce Melodia, I always get two different color bottles. One is the orange here and another is mostly white. They also have different notes but I can’t figure out how they are same name but different bottles. Same style mostly. I feel like I’m missing something, have you come across them as well?

I think the other is a limited edition that's on clearance but I have only smelled it off the orange bottle. The white bottle might also be before the brand of another parent company owned it. The brand separated from the other company and is part of the current parent company so the fragrance could smell completely different. My thoughts.

Now I’m confused as to which one I got as a bonus sample decant in an order I received 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m not the best at deciphering certain notes but maybe I can figure it out since they aren’t too similar. Cheryl there are many niche and designer brands who have hair mist sprays to layer with your fragrance. For example MFK has BR540 hair mist to go with the BR540 EDP an extrait. Some brands also have for their more popular fragrances hand creams, body creams/silk, body lotion to also layer and really get all day performance, also have laundry detergent

I don’t really know the true story, but there was a falling out. They used to be part of XERJOFF , but they are no longer but honestly I don’t know what the reason is it’s just that some of the fragrances are under both brands..

@@souless9442 No, they are not. For years, Sospiro was a sub-brand of Xerjoff, launched by the same founder, Sergio Momo. Then there was recently a legal fallout and the brand split out onto its own. They share the same formula rights e.g. Erba Pura... Which is why Sospiro can use the name Erba Pura xyz and can revamp the formulation.

Erba Oud I believe is using Cambodian Oud, my least favourite Oud ever, and is one funky smelling unpleasant Oud. To me, Erba Oud smells exactly like a dead sheep’s skin and wool rolled in rotten fruits, upon first spray I almost threw up. Several minutes later still the same 🤢 literally nauseating! This is a fragrance for an Ogre 👹
