It's a huge loss for us as a community to lose you as a whole alongside your wealth of knowledge and passion. I've watched your channel since just before we purchased our boy for our daughter (nearly 4 years?!). You've been such a huge help and inspiration. I've loved all of your photos and videos. I've found that you've not only helped me understand our crested gecko better but the costs and trends across the years. I'm totally OCD when it comes down to preparation... bit of a geek in that respect!😂 Seeing your charts and spreadsheets, It's always been clear that you put a lot of time and effort into explaining things down to the finest of details. But you need to do what's right for you, period. Thank you so much for all that you did for the community, it really was inspiring! As cheesy as it sounds, I wish you all the luck in whatever you choose to do next. On a completely different note... 24?! Oh my goodness! Not that age has anything to do with it, but I didn't realise how young you are!? I found once I hit mid-late 20's, mentally, your personality is sort of set? It doesn't really change, ergo I always assume that people are/tend to be around the same age?! But, Ouch! 24?! 😂 ... You are clearly incredibly talented, and have no doubt you will succeed in your next venture 😊. I'll stop waffling now 😅...

Back in the 90s there were not really full time breeders. Everyone was pretty much a hobby breeder becuase they could only sell to local pet stores, expos, local ads(literally printed in paper), and word of mouth. There's nothing wrong with being a hobby breeder- or even just a pet owner.

It makes sense that some people might hit the pause button as a breeding facility at the moment, unfortunately the market is over filled with low end, random dal spot random mixed morphs now, especially because "everyone" new in the hobby apparently want to keep a male and female together right away no matter what, and it does not make it easier for the high quality breeders. But you can always come back to it, in 5-10 years where the new hobbyist flue, hopefully have slow down the random mixed morphs breeding. I dont camouflage my opinion anymore, because I have simply seen this way to much, its no longer cute
