Very nice.👍 I just loaded the Android AP, registered an account, and did some initial configuring online tonight. Just for kicks, I turned on my FT-891, tuned to the 40M FT8 frequency, held my phone next to the radio mic, and pushed the AP button. BOOM!! Within in a couple of minutes, both my "test" POTA spot and the "test" email that I addressed to myself magically appeared. This is remarkable! 😃 KZ9V

Hello great app just setting it up. Hope to try tomorrow with a antenna up. Is there a way I can put a comment in ie this is a test and on the day put something like calling now Motters M7TRS 73 👍🏻

Yes, the new "Getting Started" page talks about two methods for testing: 1) send yourself an eMail or SMS, 2) Send as spot with the mode set to "TESTING" instead of SSB/CW/FM/etc. You can find the Getting Started instructions here: sotamat.com/getting-started/

@@BrianMathewsVideos ah brilliant thank you Brian. I probably read it the other night thinking this is mind blowing. I am not that tech minded. OK will have a look. A lot to learn never used FT8 and always said I wouldn't but if it can help my SOTA then yeah will give it ago Signal is hit or miss on my local one and not too far from my house/town. Thanks again.
