They were all in private collection except the Degas which was sold in 2003 so the Boston Museum of Fine Arts could purchase a very important Degas painting. They have other pastels, it is must be hard to make decisions like that. But the painting,of Degas cousin an Italian Countess her daughter's and husband is incredible technically and psychological ly
