The sultry narrator’s voice assures us of a “grand and imposing entry hall” while, incredibly, showing us anything but the grand and imposing entry hall. The first half was nothing but a travel advert for pre-pandemic Edinburgh. The second half actually showed us the house but what a pseudo-sophisticated jumble.

Too many af these beautiful old house have been "modernised" and stripped of far too many of the original features and all appear as more of the same. They have lost character and soul and have become impersonal and cold. That being said, this one seems not too bad but the narrative was overwhelming.
