Sun Princess Cruise, Embarkation Day!

You are so positive after the setbacks that disappointed you. I sail on the Sun in early January and hope they have resolved things by then. I stay in inside cabins often but the Sun looks quite a bit smaller. Was it? I also like tables for two not next to one another and it looks like the Sun has fewer that the older ships. You have me wondering if I will enjoy it. Great perspective video, thank you!

The interior cabins on Sun Princess are about 20 sq ft smaller than interior cabins on other Princess ships, but the main difference in my opinion is how narrow the space feels. The storage is great though, we were really happy with that and had more than enough room to organize our things. Thanks for watching, I am sure you will enjoy your cruise!

I HOPE YOU HAD A FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY! I can’t wait to see your birthday vlog and birthday dinner. Actually, I’m super excited to see your entire Sun Princess series. Thank you for sharing! 2 questions if you don’t mind…… 1) When you got to the port at 11:30, were you able to board the ship immediately or did you go to the Elite lounge first? 2) I’m not exactly sure what the changes are to the elite mini bar setup in the cabin. Could you tell me?

We were able to get in line to board right when we arrived and security was moving people through, but there was no access to an Elite lounge like I am used to in Port Everglades. The mini bar on other ships includes flat and sparkling water, a selection of soda, a couple beers and eight airplane bottles of liquor. This new setup is all sugary pre-mixed cocktails. Thanks for the birthday wishes - it was a great day I am excited to share!

We were on it 2 weeks in Nov & had a balcony. Still had the same size bathroom you did. And still had a hard time not walking into my husband in the cabin. Also was lost the first few days. So so different than all the other princesses. Did you notice it was hard to hang up clothes on the rod? I’m 5’5 & had to stand on my tippy toes. Hubs is 6’6- no problem. But will be on it again next week, in a Mini suite. (Heard much better cabin & bathroom)
