Let me share my memory of when i first heard this like everyone else.Springtime i think it was 1992.At the SoundFactory here in NYC on a saturday night.We had been partying into the wee hours.It was 3 or 4 in the morning.Junior Vasquez played this acapella version.We were standing in the middle of the dance floor wondering what this sound was.THEN THE BEAT DROPPED! "Cold fresh air, feel the melody that's in the air. Oh yeah." I have always liked the way Caron Wheeler sings those words. Seriously, though, 1:25, 2:18, 2:33 and 2:53. I can remember being on The A train in NYC going from Far Rock, Queens to Downtown Brooklyn and listening to this song. Those times that I listed really made me take notice. I realized then that Soul II Soul would be timeless.
