Awesome! I was watching MTV unplugged from 1993 again on youtube. I still remember the day MTV BRAZIL announced the show. It was the first time I listened to your songs and the chorus of "Somebody to Shove" (acoustic) on the commercial simply stayed with me for weeks and weeks. I was just 13 years old and by the time I was in love with a 15 years old girl. For me, it was a magical time and your music was my life's soundtrack at the time. "Black gold", "Runaway Train" and "Somebody to shove". Then I bought the CD and it was so amazing. The whole album is fantastic! My second favorite is the album "The Silver Lining". Sadly I can't find your records here in Sao Paulo, Brazil anymore. Our currency is very devalued right now. 1 dollar = 5.30 real. I wish you guys the best and keep writing! I love your music! Sadly they just don't have the reach they used to. Unfortunately the industry had them aging out as early as 1998 with the Candy from a Stranger album. But long live their music 😢

Soul Asylum doesn't really use social media the way they could to reach more people. Old fashioned band, old fashioned ways. Just a Facebook channel and a KZbin that they don't update very often. I wish they would be more active too ..
