Nothing we haven't seen, but I'm curious now that I know this reverberates from ActRaiser. That game was incredible. Maybe I should consider acquiring all five games. Tell me, is ActRaiser II from Quintet as well? Because I don't feel like getting that one unless I really have to.
@NintendoComplete4 жыл бұрын
@@christopherthibeault7502 It is a Quintet game, and in all fairness, if ActRaiser belongs, then AR2 probably also does belong grouped with the other five games. It kept a lot of the same themes going, even though it was a pure action game. It's a good game, but it's really hard. The rest of the series is pretty excellent too, but Illusion of Gaia is my favorite one. Granstream Saga is super-underrated, too.

This sword is often skipped over. Getting it involves Zantetsu Sword and Clubhouse Pass. Soul Blazer is referred to in Japan as Soul Blader. According to Illusion of Gaia, the protagonist’s canon name is Blazer. Soul Blazer is the first installment of the Gaia Trilogy, the middle one being Illusion of Gaia, and the last one being Terranigma.

I rented this game from the local video store a few times and played it with a friend. My english wasn't that good yet, but we had a good grasp of the story and most of the dialogue. I guess we were too young to get the whole humanity and beauty behind it all. We made it to the world of evil but couldn't find the phoenix magic. There was at least one person in my neighborhood that had the habit to save over other people's saved games. What happened with this game happened with Chrono trigger, final fantasy 6 and super metroid. It was frustating because it took us a lot more than 6 hours to reach that point and I never got to experience that philosophical ending. I guess what matters the most is the times in the winter when we would save living sentient creatures from a nightmare one by one, beat the shit out of demons, sometimes at my house, sometimes at his. I remember it very fondly. I am so curious about Tomoyoshi Miyazaki, the guy who wrote these games and than disapeared. He went back to the master maybe...

I dunno why but this game has such a homely charm. Maybe the music... wish I had had that when it was new. My first of those was most certainly Illusion of Gaia. Or Illusion of Time how we Europe idiots called it for some reason. There's no time travel in that game.
@NintendoComplete4 жыл бұрын
I agree with you about this game's charm :) Illusion of Gaia was my first in the series too, but I always thought that Illusion of Time was a cool alternate name. To me, it was basically saying that no matter how much things change, they stay the same, and that history isn't a straight line so much as it is a cycle that endlessly repeats, like the ending shows. Just my take on it, though.

The best by far though i liked a lot of the other tracks too. I laughed so hard when the queen asked if you thought she was pretty and you said no. I liked telling her no too over and over. Especially after the scene at the airship dock. That king though. What was his excuse for being an ultra evil tyrant again... being pussy whipped???
