Raphael's story has already become one of my favorites. I love how Amy is still reserved, yet she's more vocal than before. They even made me happier with how they portrayed Raph as such a good father towards Amy.

It's so sad in 7, the characters doesn't have their own stories, they are in the game but we don't know why they're back

Raph's story mode literally made me go "aww" at the ending but then I remembered what happens afterwards and I had mixed emotions. I'm glad they were able to flesh out the character's stories a bit more in this game, even if they weren't animated.

I just realized that Raphael has a few similarities with Lestat. A blonde, French nobleman that was cast out of his family and eventually has an adopted daughter. And assuming they follow the original timeline, becomes a vampire.

I actually preferred their Soul Calibur 3 voice actors. Especially with Nightmare. I really preferred his Ren Hoek voice than something so Shao Khan-like. It seemed too cliche.

I finally got around to playing the story mode and just beat Raphael's. His relationship with Amy is so cute! What a good dad.

This plot seems like it is referencing the Huguenot Wars, but it is so vaguely worded that I cannot tell whether the writers were intentionally taking any inspiration from those conflicts or just using generic drama tropes. Raphael and Amy must both be Catholics if they felt fleeing to Spain would be safe. Cravats and jabots were not invented until at least a hundred years after this story supposedly takes place, and lamellar armor would rarely have been seen in Western Europe (although it was common in Eastern Europe). Amy's noble lady attire towards the end of the video looks slightly Russian.

In my game I gave an other grey dot after "Raphael 6" as if there was something after but I can't select it or do anything about it really... is it just me? Or is this a bug of some kind? No other character have this.

found the answer...You have to get far into late game of the create a character story mode i sunk 23 hours and finally got the last node...

That gray dot is part of the Libra of Souls. when you complete Raphael's story segment it will finish off the chronicle.

I thought it was more of a (with lack of a better word) spiritual thing. Like Raphael is there physically, but in his mind he is someplace else and Amy can sense that

It's like asking if someone is there from a cognitive aspect. Raphael was there, but his mind was clearly spiraling into madness, believing that the very world must be changed for Amy's sake.

They keep using the same side characters in these stories. Makes it weird. One min these characters are poor and evil in This story but pure in Talim and a swordsman in Tira.

Amy is a crucial character in Raphael's story. Its his whole purpose why he seeks Soul Edge. To reform the world to something of hope. He wants to give Amy a life. To give back the innocence she lost at such a ripe young age.
