Oh my, now you made me reconsider my decision of not needing to buy this deck because I already have the Mystical Cats Tarot. I was on the fence in the same way because of how much I like my Cat Tarot! This one feels really different, and I feel the same about Llewellyn decks so that’s what pushed me over the edge! Thank you so much, I’m so glad you’re enjoying watching!!😁

@@Christa.Chronicles I did order the Soul Cats! I watched a 4K flip where I saw the cards very close and they looked so stunning - I just couldn't resist. I bought it for me as a birthday present. It's always good to have a great excuse for spending money ;)

I love the cat tarot too. I read for my cat Scotty, lol. Love the new deck. Can't wait to see how you connect in a month. The cat tarot is gentle and doesn't scare me. I love the new Alice in Wonderland. That was a favorite of mine.

Aaaaaaggggghhhhhh I'm super conflicted with this deck honestly. I'm a very big dragon person so I was excited for the Smoke, Ash & Embers deck from the same artist as this one but the artwork for the dragon deck wasn't speaking to me, and I wasn't pulled to the Oak, Ash, & Thorn deck either. However, I'm also a huge cat person so I felt super interested in this deck and was anticipating its release and hoping to see some wallthroughs of it (tysm for this video btw!!!!) but I'm still not connecting with the artwork and it's such a shame because the artist truly does a beautiful job so I don't understand why it's not calling to me 😩😭 Also I work really closely with my guidebooks so I appreciate when they're well thought out and beautifully written with deep and rich meanings/interpretations, which this one 100000% does, so now I feel torn. Like, I know it wouldn't be wise of me to buy a deck that has imagery I'm not drawn to but the guidebook alone makes me feel like I'd have phenomenal readings and insights with this deck so I feel VERY tempted to get it 😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣 Also fun fact that I learned months ago, Llewellyn is a Welsh name and it's actually pronounced "Hloo-well-in." Similar pronunciation as in the way we say it in English but it starts out with an h sound! No one's obligated to pronounce it the Welsh way of course but it made me giggle when you were talking about mispronouncing it in the beginning of the video 😆😁

I TOTALLY get that, that’s how I’ve felt about so many cat decks- like I LOVE cats so why are none of these working for me?? Connecting to the art is so important, but I will say that personally I’ve found that ones I don’t think I’ll connect to but get later on have been some of my favorites! This happened big time with my everyday witch tarot- I avoided it for years because of the art but now it’s one of my favorites! My usual method for thinking on these things is that if I already have a deck I love in the same category, then I have to be wowed to get another. The Cat Tarot was the only cat deck for me up until now, because I was personally wowed by this art! Do you have other dragon and cat decks? If not, I highly recommend The Cat Tarot or the Weird Cat Tarot if this one doesn’t seem like it’s it, and I also love The Dragon Tarot put out by US games!

@@Christa.Chronicles I actually don't have any cat and dragon decks!! 😅😆 I'm super particular about them, especially with dragons. I've had The Mystical Cats tarot deck in my wishlist for years now but I haven't gotten it yet since it takes me a long time to get myself a new deck without feeling weird about how I'm spending my money or feeling like I'm being irresponsible 🤣 With dragons there's a tarot deck coming out this year that I'm anticipating because it has the art style I think fits really well with dragon energy! Not sure if I'll get it but I'm excited to see a walkthrough of it. I'm keeping this one in my wishlist too ☺

I love that!!!! Stevie is definitely the Star in looks, Tower in attitude😂 I’ve already needed to purchase two new lamps because of that one! This deck is so awesome, I’ve been reading the guidebook and it’s adding so much to how I looked at the cards before!
