Soul Edge ver.2 (Asia) [Arcade] - "Standard" (unused character)

This is a playthrough using "STANDARD" in the Arcade game Soul Edge ver.2 (Asia region). Read on below for more information...
"Standard" is an unused character in the game, which obviously means that he is an unplayable character.
===== ABOUT STANDARD =====
---- Standard appears to be somewhat of a "template", "placeholder" or "test" character, and is NOT used anywhere in the game.
---- As you can see in the video, the character uses Mitsurugi as the character model, as well as having Mitsurugi's moveset.
---- In gameplay, the name text underneath the lifebar is glitched.
---- He wields Mitsurugi's katana, unsurprisingly.
---- He does not have any light trails during his sword strikes.
---- He is missing the ponytail like regular Mitsurugi has in this costume.
---- On the VS screen, his icon is glitched.
---- When you win a match with him, the announcer calls him "Mitsurugi" (unsurprisingly).
---- He uses Mitsurugi's voices (unsurprisingly).
---- When you complete Arcade Mode with him, the game will crash because he does not have a proper ending programmed in.
---- Apparently, the Western Mitsurugi clone fighter named Arthur was planned to appear in Soul Edge (mist likely for the Korean region). Therefore it is a possibility that Standard was meant to be created into Arthur, using Mitsurugi as the template.

Shit I thought Standard was only in the PS1 version.

He also seems very different from the PS1 version. Taken from the TCRF article on it: "Unusual in that his entry appears after all of the normally playable characters, whereas all of the other entries appear before them in the coding. Uses Mitsurugi's appearance (sans ponytail), moveset, and nametag...but can only wield Murasame, has incredibly low health, and features very slow and deliberative attacks compared to every other member of the cast, as if he is using a weighted weapon. The name "standard" as well as his isolated entry relative to the rest of the cast implies he may have been used as a placeholder or test character."
