@@barbpk1 Thanks Barb! The lip out embouchure allows so much flexibility in tone and timbre that I'm real glad that I followed the advice of pro players to play with a relaxed lip out embouchure. Now I can easily range from subtone to a strong singing tone, even as an early intermediate player. And I sound very individual, not uniform, it's my sound. Priceless advice, much recommended.

@, I still am working on that but it’s not automatic yet. But good for me to have that goal! Now if you add a touch of vibrato I think it would be icing on the cake!

@ There is a touch of terminal vibrato here and there but only very little and that may be subconsciously because I got the Coltrane recording in my head when playing the tune but also my vibrato is still developing. There are many players that use little to no vibrato on any tune, such as Vincent Herring. But then on this particular tune I like the Coltrane version just as much as the version by Stan Getz who uses a lot more vibrato. However, before my weak vibrato gets too cheesy I rather prefer to use very little vibrato. BTW, Im'd love to hear you on that tune.
