I actually really connected with Kenny in this episode. Having a parent who is never affectionate with you and makes you feel unworthy as a kid really fucking hurts. You yearn for your parent's attention and approval, yet nothing you do is ever good enough for them. Shit like that isn't easy to get over; those feelings don't evaporate overnight. Even trying to admit it aloud is difficult; the pain of being rejected again just.... makes you bottle the shit up and hope that it goes away. But it never does.

But he is a great father, often stubborn, but a good man.
