Just wanted to post this comment to correct a few things in the video: - Ringo gains Summoner Skills based on the Soul Levels of each party member, not Soul Matrix exploration. - Some crafting materials can be obtained from demons hanging around dungeons, which won’t display specific demons to defeat at the COMP Store

@@BacklogBattle yeah looking forward to playing more. still early on in the game. I feel like I need to fight every enemy that spawns in order to feel comfortable and level up(or just turn it down to easy)- do you find yourself needing to grind in the game to feel successful, cuz at times, I'm facing a level 9 enemy and I just win by the skin of my teeth, and I dont think it needs to be that way (on normal at least.)

@@_J_G_ the early game is tough because you can’t fuse things or buy upgrades. But once those unlock, you’ll have a smoother time! Believe!

This is a wonderfully information rich video presented in a very digestible manner, Alex. Love the work you put into your content. I've been having a ton of fun with the brand new take on SMT/Persona mechanics in Soul Hackers 2 and I'm so glad that it runs on the steam deck....but I do wish that someone could figure out how to get the missing shaders to show up in game. Graphically speaking it looks very incomplete on deck when you get into dungeons and battles. For example, the glowing pillars of light at portals are completely missing, and when you send demons out on recon, the textures that show them flying off to scout are completely missing. I'm going to keep tinkering around with different proton builds to see if I can remedy this, but I might just have to be satisfied with playing on my computer, or just dealing with the missing visuals when I feel like playing in my rocking chair. Thank you very much for this video! I'm mostly trying to figure it all out on my own but I keep coming back to this to try to give you some watch-time-support. I've also been meaning to go watch your golf-platformer video when I get the chance. I'm so glad that I stumbled across this channel and want to support it however I can! (patreon sub someday once I'm gainfully employed again, for sure!)

Considering Ringo is the only reason the other summoners can still use demons, we're lucky that they don't get "silenced" when Ringo falls in battle.

That’s a really good point! Though she’s never truly dead - only that she’s unable to execute any actions. I guess her presence allows the party to do their thing!

@@BacklogBattle I have done now. I just lost a bit of steam with the game foe ages when I got to zone 3. Hated the layout, so difficult to traverse anywhere. When I got to zone 4 though, I zoomed through it in a couple of days - much more enjoyable

Hey Alex, how did you figure out that Almighty damage is tied to the Sabbath? I don't see that mentioned anywhere in-game so wanting to confirm.

Good question! Given how Sabbath does not trigger unless Ringo is alive, I thought why not try and figure out if it’s damage is tied to her. So to experiment, I actually enhanced her Almighty damage via Mistiques as previous All Out Attacks in Persona were considered as such. I saw a very slight increase early on while doing this, but couldn’t justify upgrading Almighty just to get Sabbath higher as the Stack multiplier offered better advantages

Can you give a complete list of Commander skills? I have almost platinumed the game but can’t seem to unlock the trophy for using every commander skill once. As far as I can tell I have gotten every skill from Tatara.

Apparently sales wise .this game hasn't done so well. I really feel that it should have gone into the switch altho that would have competed against persona 5 royal in October

I haven’t heard anything from Atlus about this, and the only thing I’ve seen is that less than 2k are playing on Steam, which doesn’t represent the four console platforms its on
