The first song The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was ever seen dancing to on the show after the intro. I think he’s dancing in front of a mirror. He was the coolest guy alive in the 90s. I’m starting to think there are magic powers in the melanin. I’m a white dude from Canada, so I know nothing about that. I just know I’m tired of being lame.

This was THE BEST REACTION that I've seen to this song. 😂 It reminds me of the first time I heard this song back in the day on the radio... I was like who was that?!! It surely wasn't like it is now, where you can pull out your phone search and play we had to wait until the radio disc jockey played the song again. Then to my surprise and a whole lot of others here in the U.S. finding out they are from the U.K.🤩🤯!!

This came out around 1987/88, they essentially broke new ground in the UK and this song (and a few other artists at the time) created music that would be known as House. Uk was 1-2 years ahead of the US in creating this music. It all stemmed from underground illegal rave culture that was fairly unique to the UK.

They helped epitomize The British R & B Sound in the 1980's that was overlooked by Duran Duran, Wham, Culture Club, Madness, The Police, And Bananrama. One of the Daughters of one of the former Members is Alexandra Burke who auditioned and after three tries Won The X Factor in The UK. The Runner Up was JLS who became a successful R & B Group in their own right. Other R & B British Acts were Joyce Sims, Loose Ends, Musical Youth, Des'ree, and Billy Ocean. This was the Jam back in the day. The Fellow in The Group, was on a UK Documentary called "Back To Ours" where a Black Family with ties to Jamaica saw how Blacks lived in England from the 1960's to The present. They had an 1980's Party and he showed up.

yeah they are from london uk, i think the reason its such a banger and still today sounds so clean is they only used studio samples unlike alotof the urban music of the time that were using vinyl sampling. also i guess growing up listening to soundsystems the bass had to be clean and not clash with the beat. fun fact i go past where they filmed the video in forest, every day walking my dog.
