For those that wanna know the history as its known (some is kinda mythical legend now) but soul intent was a group with em, proof(rip), chaos kid(rip), manix, and DJ Butter Fingers they were doing shit from about 89-92 until em started fucking with outsidaz and meeting members of the future d12 and eventually getting his meeting eith Dr. Dre

The history is this: Em and I met in October of '88, started New Jacks about a month later in November of that year. In The fall of 89, Bassmint Productions was formed, combining the members of two former groups (New Jacks & Hype-N-Effect) which was him, me, (D.J. Butter Fingers) Manix and Chaos Kid. Manix and Chaos Kid were in Hype-N-Effect. Vitamin C., another emcee, joined a few months later, and Proof, then known as 'Maximum,' joined a little more than a year after we formed. We then changed our name to Soul Intent around late winter/early spring of '92, Vitamin C. was no longer a member and Proof had remained a sort of member, but never actually did anything with Soul Intent, besides this tape, which was recorded in late '94 and released in February of '95.
