SOUL protest in Auckland CBD against Ihumātao housing development

Auckland's Queen St was ringing with Māori chants today as protesters against a housing development brought their cause to the CBD. Protesters are petitioning the Auckland Council to intervene and stop a large housing project at Ihumatao, South Auckland. As Te Okiwa McLean reports, the group say the 500-home development threatens the intrinsic heritage value of the site.
