It never ceases to amaze me of how Jubu has grown over the years. When he started to sing and play with our family group, his guitar was longer than he was tall. From his days with Tony Toni Tone to Frankie Beverly & Maze to his time with the Soul seekers to his own group Legally Blynd he has grown into a musical monster. And, he also has a Stellar Award to go with his Grammys.

Imagine being a young guitarist trying to play along side of JUBU! Unless your name is Jarvis Mosley, Isiah Sharkey or Jabari Johnson you don’t stand a chance. Your best bet is to play in the pocket. The other guitar player did a good job. I would not want to be in his shoes. I would be asking as many questions as I could while around him. JUBU seems like a humble guy. He would probably answer anything he could or show you something on guitar.
