SOUL vs ABNORMAL | Finals
1st Round: Fixed Points
2nd Round: Lead (Crown of the head)
3rd Round: Freestyle
FOR THE FINALS the dancers had 3 rounds.They had to pick 2 rules from the bag and for the last round they were free to improv however they wanted.
We decided to throw away the old rules and inject some new ones for the finals. Those rules were a bit more abstract which would challenge the dancer to think out of the box.
The rules for the finals were:
1.DENSITY - Moving with the sensation and effect of moving in something thick and dense.
2.ANTI-GRAVITY - Having the effect of floating, being airborne.....the anti-gravity effect was open to the dancers interpretation.
3. FIXED POINTS - Having a limb or several limbs stuck in a fixed point in space.
4. LEAD - The crowd choses a section of the body with which the dancers have to lead their dance with.
