Even More Starts I Recommend in Godherja: The Dying World for CK3

Hey there, I was the one who recommended the Wardenite crusader in Damota, the Hubarist, and the Khemsari Dead Magi. Glad to see they all made it into this video :) They are all very fun, but the Hubarist is silly levels of difficult in my experience, at least if you wish for him to retain his faith. Snce you seem to have liked my suggestions, here's another I dug up: Again in Khemsar on the very western edge of the map, directly beneath Amsari Hiklahn, there's a one county count in a territory that has one of these ancient towers. He gets an intro event where some disembodied voice from the tower tells him to unite all towers in the world for some sort of special event. This is a ridiculous goal seeing how the towers are split, but I think it could be fun and flavourful.

What he’s talking about is the viveodonist ruler. I suggest not playing him since his intro event goal isn’t able to be done yet, still in works, though it is a difficult start.

There's this guy (forgot the name, I think his surname is Adiakas) who rules the old capital of Ophaskia. I think he's the only Aversarian ruler who can surrender to Cenware , don't lose any of his territory AND be a direct vassal of him without being later absorved by the other "rump states" when the Imperrech dissolves, becoming a "haven" for Aversarians (Cenware's words, not mine) on the duchy of Megalarina

There's actually a Legion in the imperial isle that can do the same. Any aversarian with the "Just" trait can surrender to cenware and take the deal :)

I've found a lot of fun on various island starts. The last Krejhedic ruler over on the isle is a fun start to reclaim and reconvert their homelands, the Mourners over on the opposite side of the map clearing the archipelago of the various Guilliamites, likewise some of the Black clans in the Tower Islands are great fun to either go north or south with insane cultists. Redlands are kinda neat purely for the super dense, weird set-up of the canyons.

Multiple campaigns as cois and only ever managed to get lucky emphasis on lucky for one of them where I won. One campaign I took the deal and tried to work my way back up after cenwares death. Which was also super fun.

Hey, i've been a big fan of the godherja mod for a long while now, probably when one proud bavarian featured the mod in his channel, and your lore videos just proves that once again there's still so much to learn about this universe. Anyway, I would like to recommend, good sir, two interesting characters. You may have heard of them. I've played one of them before, and the other I haven't. The first would be Sirras the Blackguard. He's an Iyrossi OPM count, a Dead Magi (probably the only Iyrossi that can do magic), and the sole remaining descendant of the last Iyrossi that ruled Malcois before the Aversarians invaded and enslaved them. I think he has a unique decision/s iirc, all I remember is that like every Iyrossi they have unique casus belli whenever they're neighboring an Aversarian ruler which is inciting a slave revolt. He's also connected to one of the characters you recommended in this video. Why? Well, it just so happened that said character murdered his entire family and took their skulls for fun :) Second would be none other Megistos also located in the same region as Sirras. Tbh i have no reason other than he's just so DAMN BEAUTIFUL. I mean would you look at that guy how could you not? Joking aside, I haven't played him but reading his flavor text in the start date menu, he just sounds like a good time. Both characters I mentioned are in Malcois which may or may not get conquered by Cenware. I mean depending if he died of mysterious circumstances somewhere in Aironoi;)

personally my favorite start so far was creating a magical demigod as a "blood father" to my empire, the idea being his descendants would spread magic like a religion back across the world, he started off all benevolent as a godly level healer, but as old age crept close he decided to prolong his life for the "good of the empire" using blood/life magic. so far Zanachrios is 158 years old, in perfect health, and has survived 7 assassination attempts, he has outlived all of his grand children and is essentially a lich in disguise at this point lmfao was definitely an interesting one, but thats just me i find custom character to be the best starts, thanks for another good video soul.

Belisarios has died multiple times to "Mysterious circumstances" in my games. and its always near game start when it happens for me. While I was playing him, I survived and discovered it was none other than Gorassos of the Bloodied Throne. So much for "They think the Drakaxiad name has died out." He sure as hell knows lol. Also thank you for the videos, I found you through your AtE start videos, and I never would have found Godherja without you. Currently doing a Sirras run to restore Iyrossi.

If you do another video i advise Tharena of Der Vindeon, his chamber is atop one of the tower in a corner of Kemsar and he speak with is likely an elf (or watever was called the ancient race that was exterminated by humanity) and count Garniex of Weitesfeld, he follow the aversarina aagiokrata faith, is from a marcher culture (Etrandanexi so a bit of a avesarian too) and is a vassal of Cenware (one of the two feudal vassal) and has fought for him during the battle of the elysian pass. There is also Huaizhen of Helurii but he dont have a popup at the start of the game and he is the only one with his faith and culture but they are not really developped for the moment.

Cois is one of my favourite characters I know canonically the Aversarians fall but i hope the version where he beats Cenware the first time then loses the second is canon (as his kid will survive) or just surrenders and had a nice life

As of now, there is a Sjalvolki Tribocicai that was one of the raiders on the Mayik, he stole a spell no other character has. Right now he is on the southern shore of the Brass Sea (south of Amagea) he starts off as a pirate and is out of reach from Cenwares conquests unless you move further west with the unique pirate relocation war goal. Unfortunately his mage abilities aren't the best, though what I try to do is see if Aeschreas has a daughter, steal the dominate spell from someone, get a hook on the childs mother, and force them into my court. I then either marry the daughter myself as the transformation spell gives great health boosts, or marry her to one of my sons.

The bottom right 'Indian Inspired' area can be a neat start, there's a small Aversarian Legion with no friends around it on one of the islands, but I feel like generally the cultures are a bit lacking in flavor at the moment. Feels like there's not that many with unique retinue units or cultural traditions. Would be interested to see it expanded on eventually.

@@rav9066 I was scrolling through collecting notes for another video BUT that legion is there because of the former Cinnamon Cities and Pirates who would rob shipments from the Empire to Aironoi. The Empire sent rotating legions (because of the conditions) to the area to secure trade. The legions there now are the remnants of a single one whose commander, while amazing, was killed in the Imperial Civil War and they split due to infighting.

Calling "China wear" (as he has been deemed by the multiplayer lobby) a "Gigachad" seems like a stretch. He's a tribal Mary Sue who just, rolls over everyone with godlike stats that put him near the 2000 points if he was a custom character.
