Mechanic: Everytime she deals damage to other fighters (or gets hurt) a card fills up. One of her specials will appear as the card (randomly), and the next time you use it, it will power up and get a small buff in damage/i-frame etc. or if you use shield-b the card can be cast without using it

I don’t understand why people praise fantasy heaven so much. Yeah it’s eye candy. But it is punishable as all heck. Because Reimu will be focused on landing melee attacks, you can zone her out easily. It’s nightmarish trying to activate it against a Yukari.

It's not just the eye candy.. Its the fact it just straight up destroys your opponent Sure reimu becomes a melee maniac but a good reimu player can pull it off with the skills needed

@@notarealspy4090 It's incredibly difficult to pull off. I don't even pull this card for the reason it doesn't always work. Good players are impossible for this to be pulled consistently. So in short, this is only good for trolls, as incompetent players will be easiest to take down with this.

@@notarealspy4090 Its fun, but any actual good opponent will know how to drag it out completely and making you whiff it. Or, they can even capitalize on the fact that you must be aggressive and performs counters all over the wazoo. The worst thing that can happen is getting your 6 roots cleansed while trying to go for a Fantasy Heaven. Its fun pulling this over people that can't really play very well or just Lunatic cpus tho. Or, wait for a Typhoon.

Because Fantasy Heaven is the definition of Awesome Yet Impractical. You have to do a lot of setup, yeah. But in exchange you utterly destroy your opponent and you even get your own music to do it. The fact that it's a reference to Fist of the North Star (They're both "musou tensei" in Japanese and the music remix is made to be similar to Ai wo Torimodose) helps.

Yea but the fact that you have to charge it with easily dodge able attacks is a MAJOR setback. Any decent player can easily dodge them until time runs out. Its a really good idea but bad execution.

Actually, if you don't get hit by melee attacks, it doesn't activate. So keep a good distance from Reimu until the spell's over.

And the phrase Wind god is constantly repeated in her spellcard names for example "Wind God - Storm Day". She's a very physical fighter, so the kick part and the animation aren't out of place either.
