I freaking love AoS. I now have 5 Spearheads built and am expanding Flesh Eater and Seraphon forces to 2k

Minor note on the army list: The boingrot bounderz are reinforced so are 10 not 20 they are 5/10 not 10/20 the squig hoppers (non lance/non armored grots on squigs) are 10/20. Loved seeing the Gitz on the table and a great game of AOS!

It took a large part of the stream, but I finally came up w/ an answer. Take consolidation moves from 40k. The combo of sticky objectives + no consolidation leads to some unthematic moments where you murder everything yet the other person controls it.

Great game. Power through you can definitely go through an enemy unit. On the article explaining the new abilities it says this: Finally, Power Through is activated at the end of any turn, letting rampaging monsters and barreling chariots smash through infantry or scatter cavalry, dealing damage and moving through the unit opening up new positioning opportunities. The rule itself also says it can pass through enemy units. It's just worded in a way that could be interpreted that it either passes them or their combat range. But the article definitely says it's through the unit 👌

No, power through does not allow you to move through enemy models. Only if your unit has fly. It is clearly worded "pass through and end through Combat range of enemy units it were in combat with" clearly not ignoring enemy models without fly 😊

One thing for Bacchanal of Blood. Additionally to the +1 to wound on charge, you vampires are getting +1 to cast if they are outside of combat

One minor note. Power through does not allow you to move across models unless you fly. I guess Radukar would not have been able to get the upper objective turn 4 for the Soulblight. I love the content and the batrep. Give us more please!!!

What was the +1 to hit/wound on the Troggs from?
@CynictheHedgehogАй бұрын
It's called power through, not power around. Simulating a charge breaking through the lines. I don't get why this wouldn't be the case. Are you talking about an additional unit to the one that was charged?

Where is the terrain from?

The rule I'd take from 40K is wounds counting down. Easy.

What I'd take from 40k: Wound counting down!!! Counting up just feels awful :( Everything else from AoS is far superior!
@MKDietz2 ай бұрын
Counting wounds up or down is totally up to you though :P I know the rules say to put wounds besides the unit, but you can just count down instead, as long as you're clear about it to your opponent. A lot of my opponents do that.
@Matt-mu4vj2 ай бұрын
Appreciate that - but the rules are written with wounds lost, not wounds remaining so it encourages counting the other way from 40k. It'd be a nice change to create a degree of consistency and also make it easier on your opponent
@MKDietz2 ай бұрын
@@Matt-mu4vj well that's what I said, that the rules say that, but you can just agree to do it otherwise. Also I wouldn't want the tiles changed for my part. I always indicate wound taken 😊 but that's just my preference
