I know it's often been assumed that this is the same guy as II's narrator, but now that I know that the narrator for II is Gary Williams and have seen and heard more of him behind the mic and outside the booth, I've found there's more evidence to really sell the connection. Williams has a quality to his voice that is very similar to George Lowe (voice of [adult swim]-style Space Ghost for those not in the know), and I hear it in both II and III's respective narrators. If it isn't a coincidence that Cup of Tea just happened to find a very similar narrator near Burbank then there's a chance that they got Williams back for III.

From what I remember and looked up the announcer for SC 2 and 3 was Cazmo Lukrich on the home console version. Gary Williams was the voice in the arcade version

I think he calls out Hilde? 2:06 he pronounces it like the announcer does in SCV (and I think SCVI too). I mean we do have a custom character in one of the CaS posters that looks like a prototype of her

"Inferno" - interestingly, character 0x13 - while only getting you Cassandra at the character select screen - will give whoever you select Inferno's fire effect. So maybe Inferno was gonna come back to III home version, like he did in the arcade? And I wonder if the plan was to unlock all the CoTS characters with unique voice clips and weapons...

Holy Crap! WOW! The amount of callouts and narration this has. So much is unused! This is very interesting. Fantastic job uploading this. This game needs further investigation. I will explain some of their possible and definite uses. 1."Loses"- Alternate term for lose. 2."1000"- This would have been used for the survival mini game. 3."Extra"- Not sure where this would be used. 4."Inferno"?- He appeared in the arcade version of the game. He may have been planned as a playable character in the PS2 version or could have been the original final boss before Night Terror was created for Tales of Souls Mode? 5."Doppelganger"- This would have been used when you had a "Prepare to Defend Yourself" challenge against yourself. He just reuses your name callout for it instead. 6."Ege"?- Not sure who this could be. 7."Sentry"- This would have been a custom soul character you faced in Tales of Soul mode. 8. So many alternate takes of the main characters, soul job classes, non playable monster and custom characters and bonus characters. 9."Eeldo, Ella, Lupe, Roin, Kierkess, Qulay, Mooncalf and Ende"? Looks like some of the NPC midbosses and bosses from the Chronicles Of The Sword mode were supposed to be playable in other game modes at one point? 10."Welcome to the new stage of destiny"- An alternate line of the famous stage of history opening dialogue. 11."Game Over"- This would have been used after countdown dropped to zero. 12. "Free Training"- This would have been used when you selected this mode in Practice. 13."Start"- An alternate line for beginning a battle. (This can be heard when doing the missions in Tower of Souls mode of SoulCalibur 4) 14."An encounter"- This would have been used when you select the battle option on the battlefield against an AI opponent in Chronicles of The Sword Mode. 15."Chronicle Cleared"- This would have been used after you completed a chronicle in Chronicles Of The Sword Mode. 16."Was seriously wounded but the soul still burns"- Very well known for its use in Soul Blade and SoulCalibur. It wasn't used in Soulcalibur 2 and probably why it went unused here too. 17. "Action!"- Not sure where this would be used. 18. "Challenge"- Not sure where this would be used. 19."Watch Out!"- This would have been used when a stage event cutscene involving Raphael, Cervantes, Astaroth and Zsamlamel tried to attack you. 20."Press the button rapidly!"- This would have been used for the flashing buttons that appear on screen when the event attacks happen. 21."Namco"- Just an alternate take. 22."SoulCalibur 3"- Just an alternate take. 23.A lot of stage introductions reused from SoulCalibur 2. 24. A lot of unused stage introductions for the game.

"Ege" was actually Aege from Chronicles, one of the Klessirpemdo members who accompanied Luna along with Heal-do, Elua, and Lupi. The lines go unused, but if you do some modding and have them appear in Quick Play/Tales of Souls, you can actually hear the lines.
