I just realized the round before Nightmare is a harem, especially because all those girls have been shipped with Siegfried. I think Siegfried is the only character in the game who has a story mode round of only women.

You mean the one where he gained Soul Calibur, stabbed Soul Edge, left his old Armor behind seeking redemption, and Inferno took over his Armor? Because Siegfried did become Nightmare in the Original Timeline, but he gained Soul Calibur to seal Soul Edge away for good, and destroy Nightmare once and for all, since Inferno had possessed Siegfried's old armor that he threw aside, and became Nightmare instead (Blame Zasalamel for Nightmare's resurrection.)

SCVI is literally based on SCI, SCII and SCIII (and then they threw Hildegard in because for some reason people like her), where Siegfried was at the edge of being fully consumed by Soul Edge until Raphael accidentally freed him in SCIII... SCIV is meant to be the climax of the story where he gets to kill Nightmare and seal Soul Edge. SCVI is just a messy story where a freaking non-canon game wants to be canon-but I won't get into that

His ending implies that he believes the illusions of Soul Edge. Also its confirmed he was a Malfested during the events of SC4 and SC5 though Kilik cured him of such Malfestation

​@@atlasreborn7221 I hope Cassandra can get Cured of Malfeation too. I made a Version of Her Cured of it in sc4 as Post Malfest Cassandra. The only difference is that her Hair is White now.
